Anub1ss Takes DM-Deck: From Comeback to Thirty Points
Jano launched the match with rockets, but once Anub1ss arrived, DM-Deck became a long demonstration of control.
DM-Deck first looked like a match in which every point would be expensive and the order would shift only in small steps. Walldodge eliminated himself after 14 seconds, so the authoritative first blood came at 16 seconds: hemeroid hit Deemer with the Enforcer and opened the scoring. Jano soon leaned on the Rocket Launcher, and together with hemeroid and Deemer turned the opening into a busy exchange. Those three shaped the first few minutes. Anub1ss did not appear in the kill log until 218 seconds, but from that moment the meaning of the word “lead” began to change very quickly.
A rocket-fueled start puts Jano in front
Jano established himself as the most active scorer in the opening minutes. The Rocket Launcher produced kills on hemeroid and Deemer, and he also added a Redeemer strike; by 189 seconds he had six points. It was not clean work, however. At 210 seconds he blew himself up with his own rocket, and later repeated the same mistake. hemeroid stayed involved mainly with rockets, while Deemer answered Jano with the Redeemer, Bio Rifle and Enforcer. The opening was noisy, close and messy—the kind of sequence DM-Deck produces naturally.
Anub1ss entered that running fight with his first kill at 218 seconds against hemeroid. Eighteen seconds later he hit Jano with the Bio Rifle from 59 meters, and at 254 seconds used the same weapon to remove hemeroid from 72.2 meters, the longest kill of the match. Jano still held the advantage and reached seven points at 279 seconds, but Anub1ss answered in that same second with the Shock Rifle and added a Shock Combo thirteen seconds later. What had looked like a chase was turning into a hard reversal.
Fourteen kills split the match in two
From 218 to 433 seconds, Anub1ss built the longest spree of the match: fourteen kills without dying. He rotated through the Bio Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Rocket Launcher, Shock Rifle and Shock Combo, denying his opponents a single problem they could solve. At 319 and 326 seconds he dropped hemeroid twice with the Sniper Rifle, then at 372 seconds added the match’s only headshot and kept moving toward a score of 14. The scoreboard flipped during this stretch: while Jano lost ground, including through a suicide, Anub1ss kept scoring without interruption and took the lead.
Jano finally stopped the spree at 433 seconds with the Rocket Launcher, killing Anub1ss at a 14:7 score. It was an important hit, but not a fresh start. Jano added two kills on Trajbalajka and briefly recovered some tempo, yet Anub1ss returned without panic. Curiously, the dominant stretch never produced an official multikill; every multikill_level value remained zero. The advantage was created not by one burst, but by a long chain of individual fights won again and again.
Closing control leaves no route back
After 571 seconds Anub1ss began the second decisive wave. A Shock Combo on Jano opened a stretch in which Trajbalajka and Jano fell at regular intervals to the Sniper Rifle, Shock Combo, Shock Rifle and rockets. Between 591 and 675 seconds, Anub1ss moved from 17 to 24 points. His average life lasted 166 seconds, far beyond Jano’s 31 or Trajbalajka’s 34. That figure does not explain positioning by itself, but it clearly shows how few chances the field had to reset his rhythm.
Trajbalajka did stop him with the Stinger at 732 seconds, and Jano added a rocket kill fourteen seconds later. By then, however, Anub1ss was already on 26. Late on, Trajbalajka produced a notable 63.5-meter rocket hit on Jano, but Anub1ss immediately resumed scoring: Link Gun, Bio Rifle and Rocket Launcher carried him to 29. The final point arrived at 849 seconds, a 6.8-meter rocket kill on Jano. The 30:10 result was sealed one second before the recorded time ended, turning what had begun as an open contest into a one-sided final table.

DM-Deck therefore produced a match with two distinct halves without literally having halves. First came rockets, revenge kills and small changes in momentum, with Jano looking the most settled. Then Anub1ss arrived and turned an open deathmatch into a disciplined run toward 30. His 30 kills against only three deaths, the 14-kill spree and the ability to score through several weapon styles formed a combination nobody else matched. Jano remained second on ten points, hemeroid third on four, and the closing minutes merely confirmed who had taken control of the map.
