Maps: DM-Rankin
On DM-Rankin, every corner can hide a duel — and sometimes a hole beneath your feet.
DM-Rankin is a deathmatch arena for Unreal Tournament 3 where reading the terrain matters as much as reading your opponent. According to the spatial data, the map measures 115 × 89 m, offers 5,882 m² of walkable space, and contains 15 obstacles and holes. Cover can save a fight, but a poorly chosen escape route can end one just as quickly.
On UT3.sk, DM-Rankin has so far hosted 3 matches with a total of 218 kills. Matches averaged 5.3 players and lasted 12 minutes on average; the recorded games took place from August 4 to August 6, 2026. Vulgarus leads the player standings with 93 kills across 3 matches, followed by the bots Rozsekac with 26 kills in 2 matches and Kombo with 18 kills in 1 match.
One player also owns the entire record cabinet: Vulgarus posted the most kills in a single match (32), the longest streak (10 kills without dying), and the most headshots in a match (2). The spatial data also marks a zone in the center-left of the top-down map accounting for 2.3% of kills. That is not an invitation to camp, just a reminder to check even a familiar corner.
Battle tips
- When rounding an obstacle, do not sprint straight into the open. Check the angle first, then accelerate.
- Watch for holes and leave room to correct your dodge. Speed only helps if you know where you will land.
- In the center-left of the overhead layout, check approaches from several directions; the spatial data identifies a zone there with 2.3% of kills.
- After landing a kill, change position or sightline rather than giving your opponent the same easy return duel.
- With matches averaging 12 minutes, do not waste your momentum on reckless chases. Move safely between cover and choose favorable fights.
Vulgarus holds all three listed DM-Rankin records: 32 kills in one match, 10 kills without dying, and 2 headshots in one match. Some players collect trophies; this one took the whole display case.
Map floor plan
Wall outline assembled from the positions players and bots have walked through – it sharpens with every match. True map aspect ratio. Diamonds = spawn points (size ~ frequency, color ~ area danger: green calm, red risky). Brownish lines = walls and ledges outside the walkable area, traced from weapon impacts. Overlays are hidden by default – enable them by clicking a legend item below the chart.
