Anub1ss storms the finish to rule DM-Deck with 30 pts
Just when DM-Deck seemed to belong to the established leaders, Anub1ss arrived late and turned the final minutes into a private sprint.
DM-Deck opened without a clear owner, and for more than ten minutes the scoreboard behaved like an open account where everyone added and lost points. hemeroid took first blood at 24 seconds with a Bio Rifle kill on Stingray, but the lead then shifted among several names. Longshot detonated a Redeemer at 131 seconds, killing hemeroid and Stingray while also taking himself out, Stingray answered with a Double Kill, and Kemper leaned heavily on the Flak Cannon. Jano entered the kill log in the fifth minute and --UW-- followed later; their arrival gradually moved the match from opening chaos toward a serious fight for the lead.
An opening with no owner
hemeroid pushed on after first blood with the Bio Rifle and Rocket Launcher, although his own rockets repeatedly cut into his score. Longshot produced the loudest early moment: at 131 seconds he fired a Redeemer, killed hemeroid and Stingray for a Double Kill, and was caught by the same blast. In a match that would produce 12 lead changes, it was a perfect warning that every point could be temporary.
By the fifth minute the leaders were clustered around five to seven points. Jano opened his account with a rocket on Kemper, --UW-- joined shortly after minute seven, and hemeroid kept scoring mainly with the Rocket Launcher. Kemper remained dangerous at close range, but suicides and slime repeatedly erased progress. The pace also fluctuated, culminating in a 71-second gap after 798 seconds, the longest quiet spell of the match.
Midgame: rockets, Flak and revenge
Past the halfway point, three styles became clear. --UW-- relied on Shock Rifle and Shock Combo, Jano on Flak Cannon and Rocket Launcher, and hemeroid on relentless rocket pressure. Jano also specialized in immediate payback: the computed data gives him 12 revenge kills, the most in the match. His biggest technical moment came at 746 seconds, when a Redeemer hit hemeroid from 60 metres, the longest kill of the game.
The Jano-hemeroid rivalry was the densest on the board. They accounted for 20 direct kills against one another, with hemeroid narrowly ahead 11:9. Meanwhile --UW-- climbed through repeated Shock Combo kills and reached the lead around 20 points. Jano and hemeroid stayed close. Then the story changed with a player who logged only 419 seconds of total play: Anub1ss.
Anub1ss hits the accelerator
Anub1ss recorded his first kill at 1047 seconds, taking hemeroid with the Bio Rifle. From there he launched the run that reshaped the entire match. --UW-- became a repeated Shock Combo target, rockets followed against Jano and Trajbalajka, and Anub1ss assembled an 11-kill spree from 1047 to 1204. Jano finally ended it with the Flak Cannon. In roughly two and a half minutes, a new name on the board had become a genuine winning threat.
It was not a single lucky streak. Anub1ss rotated through Shock Combo, Rocket Launcher, Flak Cannon and Bio Rifle, then regained momentum quickly after the spree ended. --UW-- still held 20 points at 1274 seconds and hemeroid and Jano remained in the race, but Anub1ss was already at 15 and accelerating. At 1322 he added a Double Kill with the Flak Cannon, then at 1353 killed --UW-- to reach 23 and seize the decisive initiative.
The final minute belonged to one name
From 23 points onward, Anub1ss began closing the door. He dropped hemeroid with the Rocket Launcher, hit him again with Shock Combo, then took Jano and --UW-- with more rockets. He reached 28 at 1402, and a Shock Rifle kill at 1410 made it 29. hemeroid answered with a Redeemer at 1415, but by then he was only delaying the last point.
At 1430 the finish came in the same language as the comeback: Shock Combo on hemeroid, point 30, final score 30:23. --UW-- stayed on 22 and Jano on 21. The 19th minute was the busiest with 11 kills, but the deciding factor was not just volume; it was who converted late exchanges into clean points. Anub1ss finished with 30 kills, only seven deaths and a 52-second average life, best in the field.
