Jano turns DM-Deck around with a rocket-powered 30:22 win
Jano spent the opening minutes collecting defeats, then began collecting points at rocket speed.
DM-Deck hosted match 295 on 18 October 2026, a Normal Deathmatch that lasted 1,001 seconds: sixteen minutes and forty-one seconds. Five competitors chased a 30-point limit. The eventual order was Jano on 30, Rachot on 22, Telefrag on 19, Zabijak on 12 and Poskok on three. That final table disguises a rough opening for the winner, who watched others score while he remained stranded on zero. Jano would finish with 33 kills, three suicides and an arsenal dominated by the Rocket Launcher.
A first blood and a four-kill storm
Telefrag struck first after just 18 seconds, killing Jano with the Sniper Rifle. Zabijak hit Jano with a Shock Combo at 33 seconds; at 43 seconds Telefrag landed a sniper headshot on the same victim. Rachot moved into the lead at 75 seconds and assembled the longest uninterrupted spree of the match, four kills from 61 to 98 seconds. It included a Double Kill against Telefrag at 89 seconds. Zabijak finally ended the run with the Flak Cannon at 98 seconds. The match already had a very loud argument about who belonged at the top.
At 128 seconds, Zabijak killed Telefrag with a rocket and Telefrag struck Zabijak with Slime at the same recorded moment, the latter registered as a Double Kill. Jano did not score until 142 seconds, when his Rocket Launcher caught Telefrag. Rachot, meanwhile, was experimenting with range: his Redeemer caught Telefrag from 51.8 metres at 150 seconds.
Telefrag pushes ahead while Slime waits
Telefrag reclaimed the lead by killing Jano at 200 seconds. At 280 seconds he found Jano with another sniper headshot, his second of the match. He eliminated Jano at 321 seconds and Zabijak at 331 seconds with the Flak Cannon, only to lose a point to Slime at 332 seconds. It was a useful reminder that the scenery on DM-Deck could be just as unforgiving as an opponent.
The Redeemer then made its presence known. At 374 seconds Telefrag and Rachot exchanged Redeemer kills, and at 375 Telefrag added Jano to the list for another Double Kill. At 414 seconds Zabijak sent Rachot into Slime and immediately suffered a Slime suicide of his own. That was followed by the longest silent spell: 42 seconds until the next kill, at 456. Jano restarted the action with rockets against Zabijak, then hit Rachot at 510 and 555 seconds. His score was climbing and the shape of the match was changing.
The Rocket Launcher becomes an argument
At 589 seconds Jano killed Telefrag and reached 14 points. Poskok then made his mark: at 608 seconds he eliminated Jano with a Redeemer, and at 617 seconds he killed Rachot with a rocket. Poskok played only 411 seconds in total, but those were hardly decorative appearances. Jano retaliated against Telefrag at 634 seconds, bringing his score to 15, and kept applying pressure to different targets.
Rockets accounted for kills on Poskok at 642 and 670 seconds, Zabijak at 675, and Telefrag at 694. At 720 seconds Jano hit Rachot but also killed himself with his own rocket. Even the eventual winner occasionally got a little too close to the fireworks. The spectacular reply came at 746 seconds: Jano hit Telefrag with a Redeemer from 71.1 metres, the longest kill of the match. One second later the Redeemer also caught Rachot, completing Jano’s Double Kill. A single second can be quite a long time for somebody standing in its path.
The busiest minute and the final point
The thirteenth minute, from 12:00 to 12:59, produced 11 valid kills, the highest rate of the match. Rachot contributed five and Jano four; this was a pursuit, not an uncontested march. Rachot also landed a remarkable 52.9-metre rocket kill against Telefrag at 739 seconds. Jano answered with the decisive Redeemer sequence at 746 and 747 seconds, then landed rockets on Zabijak, Telefrag and Rachot between 791 and 813 seconds. That took him to 25 points.
There was still resistance. Zabijak killed Jano with the Redeemer at 880 seconds and the Bio Rifle at 895. Telefrag notched another Double Kill at 898, while Poskok headshot Jano with a Sniper Rifle at 950. Rachot killed Jano with the Bio Rifle at 966, but two seconds later lost a point to his own Flak Cannon. Jano scored his 28th point at 940 seconds, his 29th against Poskok at 976, and his 30th exactly at 1,001 seconds against Telefrag. The last weapon was, appropriately, a Rocket Launcher. Final score: Jano 30, Rachot 22.
