Jano steals the Terminal finale with four late rockets
Just when hemeroid looked ready to win, Jano landed four unanswered blows.
Five names, one arena and a target score of thirty: DM-1on1-Terminal was ready for a wild Normal Deathmatch. On October 14, 2026, Jano, hemeroid, Doskok, Trefa and Granatnik played for 619 seconds, just over ten minutes. The log records 113 kills against opponents, eleven self-inflicted deaths and six changes of the lead. Rockets dominated the action, but they did not guarantee safety: one careless blast could also subtract a point from the shooter's score. hemeroid would eventually lead Jano 27–25, yet Jano took the win 30–27. To understand how that happened, the score needs to be followed all the way to the final second.
First blood, first warning
Jano drew first blood in the fourteenth second, catching Trefa with a Rocket Launcher. hemeroid replied by eliminating Doskok at 22 seconds. At 31 seconds Jano shot down hemeroid, then took Trefa again at 37 seconds for a 3–1 start in the race between the leaders. Trefa responded with a Flak Cannon kill on Jano at 47 seconds, proving that the early frontrunner was not untouchable.
At 86 seconds hemeroid brought the leading pair level at 4–4 with a rocket against Jano. Jano pushed on to 7–5 by 114 seconds, but the arena kept collecting surprises. At 84 seconds both Trefa and Doskok were crushed, each losing a point without an opponent taking the credit. The longest interval between kills on opponents was only eighteen seconds, beginning after the event at 68 seconds. Even the quiet spells barely deserved the name.
A six-kill run with a catch
At 124 seconds Jano caught himself with his own rocket, cutting his score from seven to six. hemeroid seized the moment at 132 seconds with two kills, against Trefa and Doskok, earning a Double Kill. At both 148 and 154 seconds hemeroid killed Jano but also suffered a self-inflicted rocket death recorded at the same timestamp. That kept the contest closer than the fireworks suggested.
Then came Jano's longest streak: six consecutive enemy kills starting at 164 seconds, including two on hemeroid, three on Doskok and one on Trefa. The kill on Trefa at 178 seconds was flagged as a Double Kill, and Jano reached 13 points by 197 seconds. The computed record defines the streak as running from 164 to 203 seconds and names no rival as its terminator. At 203 seconds Jano instead lost another point to his own rocket. It was an explosive run in more than one sense.
Seven points up is not safe
Jano continued to score against hemeroid, including Double Kills marked at 234 and 251 seconds. The scoreboard for the two frontrunners stood at 17–10 after the latter strike. Seven points seemed a substantial cushion, but Jano squandered another one with a self-kill at 259 seconds. His aggressive Rocket Launcher play generated opportunities and costly accidents in equal measure.
hemeroid refused to disappear. Between 305 and 398 seconds he scored against Granatnik, Doskok, Trefa and Jano. At 398 seconds he blasted Jano and reached 19–19. The other competitors mattered: Doskok mixed Link Gun pressure with Flak Cannon and Enforcer kills, while Granatnik recorded his first kill at 304 seconds and used the Flak Cannon to impose himself at close range. This was a five-player Deathmatch, not an isolated duel.
The chase becomes a lead
The equality at 19–19 lasted only through another burst of disruption. Granatnik killed Jano at 404 seconds, then hemeroid at 409 and Doskok at 411 for a Double Kill. Jano subtracted yet another point from his own total at 420 seconds. hemeroid then struck Doskok at 444 and Granatnik at 446, the second hit counting as a Double Kill and bringing him to 21 against Jano's 18.
Jano hit back against hemeroid at 452 and Doskok at 464 seconds, but no one was left alone to score in peace. Granatnik completed his own Double Kill at 500 and 501 seconds by eliminating hemeroid and Jano in succession. Jano's rocket against hemeroid at 539 seconds made it 24–23. Granatnik ultimately finished with twelve points and no suicides, while Doskok took third with nineteen. Neither player won, but both forced the leaders to keep looking over their shoulders.
Seventeen seconds for a comeback
The tenth minute was the busiest, with fifteen kills between 540 and 599 seconds. At 567 seconds hemeroid landed the longest kill of the entire match: a Rocket Launcher shot at Jano from 36.7 metres, levelling the pair at 25–25. At 572 seconds hemeroid removed Trefa and Granatnik, claiming a Double Kill and surging ahead 27–25. Jano reduced the gap to 26–27 with a Flak Cannon shot at 576 seconds. At 595 seconds Trefa produced the match's only headshot, using a Sniper Rifle against Granatnik at just 3.2 metres.
The last seventeen seconds delivered the verdict. Jano rocketed hemeroid at 601 seconds to tie it at 27–27, followed by Trefa at 605, Doskok at 615 and Granatnik at 618. The last elimination completed a Double Kill and reached the target of thirty points. hemeroid never scored again. Four unanswered kills turned a near-defeat into a 30–27 Jano victory.

Doskok finished third with nineteen points, Trefa fourth with fourteen, and Granatnik fifth with twelve. Rocket Launcher accounted for sixty of the 113 enemy kills, more than every other weapon combined. Yet the crucial fact was not the weapon's popularity.
