Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Jano (15900 dmg) · airborne kills: 30 · gutsiest kill: Fraghound (44 HP)
Match verdict: hemeroid won 30–21 over Jano because his burst between seconds 61 and 118 converted a weak start into a lasting lead. Stopping Jano's five-kill spree at 155 protected that margin, while the late scoring run secured the finish.

MVP goes to hemeroid for thirty points and thirteen revenge kills; Jano owns the five-kill spree and two headshots. Palba gets first-blood honours, Deckrat the very unwanted slime souvenir, and Fraghound recognition for relentless disruption.
hemeroid conquers DM-Deck despite Jano's five-kill run
Five minutes, four lead changes and one perfectly timed answer to Jano's charge.
DM-Deck hosted a breathless UltraInstagib Deathmatch in which one accurate shot was enough to change the scoreboard. Five names entered, the target stood at thirty points, and the clock would stop after 299 seconds. Nobody owned the opening: the lead changed hands four times before the contest found its eventual master. hemeroid finished on 30, ahead of Jano on 21, Deckrat on 18, Fraghound on 17 and Palba on one. Yet those figures hide a remarkable first blood, Jano's long unbeaten streak, a spectacular long-distance hit and an unfortunate encounter with slime. This was a victory built on repeated recoveries, not on staying out of danger.
Palba draws first blood; everyone else grabs the lead
Only three seconds had passed when Palba hit Deckrat from 6.9 metres with the Ultra Instagib Rifle: first blood was settled. Fraghound answered at six seconds, shooting Palba from just 0.8 metres away, and Palba left after seven seconds of play. Fraghound then caught Deckrat at eleven seconds. Jano scored his first point at sixteen, whereas hemeroid did not get on the board until twenty-nine. The eventual champion was not leading the parade; he was trying to catch it.
Deckrat was busy as well. At thirty-eight seconds he dropped Jano for a Double Kill, bringing them both to four points. By fifty-nine seconds Fraghound had six and hemeroid only two; the latter had already endured an awkward start. The first minute contained nineteen enemy kills, with several players briefly threatening to escape. Four changes of leader were recorded across the match. Early confidence was worth little when the next clean rifle hit could erase it.
The seventy-fifth second turns the table
Starting at sixty-one seconds, hemeroid suddenly found a rhythm. Fraghound fell first, then Deckrat twice, followed by Fraghound at seventy-two seconds and Deckrat at seventy-five. That final hit raised hemeroid to seven points and also registered a Multi Kill, the highest multikill tier reached in the match. Jano and Fraghound stood on six apiece, but the once-struggling contender now held the lead. It was not a single lucky shot: it was a sequence of useful answers, arriving faster than the competition could rebuild momentum.
At eighty-eight seconds hemeroid killed Jano to reach ten. He got Jano again at ninety-four and one hundred six seconds, then Deckrat at one hundred eighteen for thirteen points. Minute two supplied eighteen kills and minute three sixteen, so the action never truly stopped. Jano, meanwhile, showed a different strength: his average kill distance was 23.9 metres, compared with 19.8 for hemeroid. The emerging leader was scoring more often, but the best distant shooter was waiting for an opening.
Jano's five, then a 56.2-metre answer
From 120 to 152 seconds Jano put together the longest uninterrupted killing spree of the night. Fraghound, hemeroid, Fraghound again, Deckrat and Fraghound once more were the five victims. His hit at 140 seconds also counted as a Double Kill. There was real pressure on the leader, whose advantage was no longer comfortable. At 155 seconds, however, hemeroid stopped Jano with a rifle shot from 49.9 metres. The score immediately afterwards was 16–13 to hemeroid. That interruption mattered as much as several ordinary points: it denied his challenger a sixth straight kill.
At 162 seconds came the match's longest successful shot. hemeroid picked off Deckrat from 56.2 metres, a properly sniper-range hit despite the single-weapon format. Deckrat then fought back, collecting five kills between 180 and 207 seconds, including a Double Kill against Jano at 185. Fraghound kept breaking other players' rhythm too. The fourth minute, covering seconds 180 through 239, was the most frantic of all with twenty-two kills. Anyone hoping for a quiet middle act had joined the wrong server.
Slime, revenge and the decisive thirtieth point
hemeroid replied with kills at 210, 211 and 214 seconds, the last of which was another Multi Kill against Deckrat. He added Deckrat at 225 and Fraghound at 228. Deckrat reached nineteen kills at 235 seconds, only to lose a scoreboard point at 248 by dying in slime. That single suicide explains his unusual final statistics: nineteen kills but just eighteen points. It also offered the match its bleakest joke, courtesy of the map itself.
A nine-second gap between kills at 260 and 269 was the longest lull. Then hemeroid surged from 25 to 29, including a Double Kill at 280 seconds. Jano still had a last flourish: at 292 he hit hemeroid with his second headshot of the match. But the final move was reserved for the leader. At 298 seconds hemeroid shot Deckrat from seven metres to reach thirty. The clock stopped at 299 seconds, leaving a nine-point gap and a much louder story than the score alone suggests.
Match moments
- Second 3: Palba draws first blood against Deckrat.
- Second 75: hemeroid takes seven points and records a Multi Kill.
- Seconds 120–152: Jano assembles the match's longest, five-kill spree.
- Second 155: hemeroid ends Jano's run from 49.9 metres.
- Second 162: hemeroid hits Deckrat from a record 56.2 metres.
- Second 248: slime costs Deckrat a point.
- Second 292: Jano lands a headshot, but hemeroid closes at 30–21 six seconds later.
A 30–21 final score looks comfortable, but the winning method was anything but serene. Jano owned the longest spree, both headshots and a nineteen-second average life; Deckrat kept attacking despite the slime penalty, while Fraghound personally killed hemeroid ten times. The champion died twenty-five times and averaged only eleven seconds alive, yet repeatedly returned to score. His thirteen instant revenge kills led the field, compared with nine for Jano, six for Deckrat and four for Fraghound. On this DM-Deck, resilience after being eliminated counted for more than a quiet survival statistic. The final rifle shot belonged to exactly the player who best understood that lesson.
