Humans vs bots

MVP Zasah won with 30 points, 42 kills, a six-kill spree and 15 instant revenge kills. Masakr logged 12 revenges, Unreal_Forever 11 and Strafan six; Zasah had two Double Kills and Masakr one. Award for least convenient hobby? Zasah’s twelve self-inflicted deaths, all survived on the final scoreboard.
Zasah stole DM-Deck victory from the brink of defeat
When his rival reached 29, Zasah still had an entire ending to write.
DM-Deck, Normal Deathmatch, a 30-point target and four players who spent 32 minutes and 40 seconds making life exceedingly difficult for themselves. Zasah opened by losing a point to his own Redeemer at 0:36, then repeated the trick with a Rocket Launcher at 1:05. Yet the official first blood was his: at 1:39 he put a Flak Cannon shot into Masakr from 6.3 metres. In the same second Unreal_Forever eliminated Strafan with a rocket. The scoreboard finally came alive, although nobody could call its early entries reassuring. This was a contest in which hitting an opponent was only half the challenge; surviving your own explosive ideas was the other half.
A costly warm-up and the first real hit
Zasah recovered quickly from minus two. A rocket against Unreal_Forever, a sniper hit on Masakr and two more eliminations took him to three points by 2:40. But the return fire was immediate. At 2:06 Zasah and Unreal_Forever killed each other with rockets in the same second; at 2:21 Zasah and Masakr exchanged a Sniper Rifle and Bio Rifle kill. It was the kind of opening in which checking the standings could be dangerous to your concentration.
Strafan joined in with a rocket on Masakr at 3:04 and Link Gun eliminations of Unreal_Forever at 3:35 and Zasah at 3:59. That briefly gave him three points and a credible claim to the lead. Masakr also began accumulating kills, although an early CampKiller penalty and a Slime mishap for Strafan kept scrambling the order. The data report twelve lead changes across the match; the opening minutes explain why the eventual winner could not afford to relax.
Flak Cannon opens the account; Redeemer talks back
At 4:57 Zasah dispatched Unreal_Forever with a Flak Cannon and began a six-kill streak that the computed summary traces from 297 to 601 seconds. Its noisiest stretch arrived from 6:48 to 6:57: Strafan, Unreal_Forever and Masakr all fell to his Flak Cannon. The 6:52 strike on Unreal_Forever was a Double Kill, and Masakr received the next hit. Masakr finally ended that six-kill run at 10:01 with a Stinger. By then, though, the match had already proved that even a long streak was not a permanent lease on the lead.
Unreal_Forever repeatedly punished Masakr, notably with a rocket from 42 metres at 7:41 and further strikes through the ninth and tenth minutes. At 10:59 he headshot Zasah with a Sniper Rifle and moved to ten points against nine. Zasah had killed him with a Redeemer at 10:19, but that blast also killed Zasah himself in the same second, immediately subtracting a point. At 12:42 Masakr answered with a Redeemer Double Kill against Strafan and Zasah. The explosive weapons provided spectacle and, rather often, their own invoices.
Fifth gear in the fifteenth minute
Between 14:00 and 14:59 the log recorded eight valid kills, the busiest minute of the entire match. Zasah eliminated Masakr with an Enforcer at 14:04, took out Strafan with a Slime Double Kill three seconds later, and recovered from being killed by Unreal_Forever at 14:08. He then hit Unreal_Forever and Masakr with the Shock Rifle and finished another Masakr encounter with a Shock Combo at 14:38. By the end of that minute the four scores read 19, 14, 13 and 7. For a moment, Zasah had turned sustained pressure into breathing space.
The match then switched rhythms. Unreal_Forever began closing again and the leaders were level at 22 apiece near the twentieth minute. The longest kill-free interval was actually the opening 99 seconds, when early self-inflicted deaths did not count as valid kills. Zasah kept losing points to his own misadventures in the second half, while his two eliminations of Unreal_Forever during the twenty-second minute restored some order. Slime, rockets and self-inflicted deductions meant that no apparent advantage was completely safe.
Twenty-nine is not thirty
The closing stretch looked almost settled for Unreal_Forever. At 28:03 he eliminated Masakr with a Link Gun and reached 29 points, while Zasah had only 24. Then the narrative turned. Unreal_Forever fell into Slime at 28:14, lost another point to his own Redeemer at 29:06 and repeated that fatal Redeemer mistake at 31:00. Meanwhile, Zasah twice cut down Masakr with the Flak Cannon at 28:54 and 29:06 and then felled Strafan with the same weapon at 30:08. Unreal_Forever still managed his third headshot, on Zasah at 30:09, but the finish line had started moving away from him.
Strafan earned a headline of his own at 26:45, when his Rocket Launcher found Masakr from exactly 50 metres, the longest kill of the match. Yet points, not distance, determined the champion. Masakr rocketed Zasah at 31:24, only for Zasah to score against Unreal_Forever with a Stinger seven seconds later for point 28. A rocket on Strafan at 31:39 brought point 29. At 32:39, another rocket struck Strafan from 33.6 metres: point 30, victory, and the final standings of 30–27–26–17.

After 1,960 seconds the scoreboard read 30–27–26–17, which barely hints at the nerves behind those figures. Zasah needed 42 opponent kills because twelve self-inflicted deaths took points away; nevertheless he delivered the top score and longest spree. Unreal_Forever collected three headshots and reached within a single point of the winning total. Masakr won the most heated individual matchup against Unreal_Forever by 14 kills to 11, while Strafan supplied the longest-range hit of the day.
