KST conquers DM-Codex after a turnaround and seven-kill run
Krallbait burst into the lead, but KST took it back and never let go.
DM-Codex delivered a Normal Deathmatch that stayed open until one player found the right rhythm. KST struck after only eight seconds: a Shock Combo on Nabeh produced first blood and the opening point. Krallbait answered with the Link Gun, followed with the Flak Cannon and took the lead at 59 seconds. Uskok and Nabeh were active too, so the opening was never a one-man show. KST had to erase the gap, survive his own mistakes and only then launch the stretch that turned a close contest into a clear 30:20 victory.
Krallbait grabs the first advantage
KST opened the scoring with a Shock Combo, but the first two minutes mostly belonged to Krallbait. At 14 seconds he killed KST with the Link Gun, at 59 seconds he did it again with the Flak Cannon, and that created the first change at the top. By 119 seconds Krallbait had reached 6 while KST was on 3. The second minute was the busiest according to the computed data, with seven kills, and DM-Codex quickly became a tight brawl where the Flak Cannon repeatedly settled fights from only a few meters away.
KST kept cutting into the gap. He killed Krallbait with the Link Gun at 179 seconds and the Bio Rifle at 210, then used a Shock Combo on Nabeh at 224 to draw level with the leader at 7:7. Twenty-eight seconds later he dropped Nabeh with the Stinger, moved to 8 points and reclaimed first place at 252 seconds. That was the second and final lead change of the match.
KST creates room while the pack stays close
Once back in front, KST accelerated. A Flak Cannon kill on Krallbait, a Shock Rifle kill on Uskok and a Shock Combo on Nabeh carried him to 11 points by 312 seconds. Then came the longest quiet spell: after the kill at 312, the arena went 48 seconds without another frag until KST hit Uskok with the Rocket Launcher at 360. The pause did not change the direction of the standings. KST kept the advantage through the next exchanges and stood on 14 points by 449 seconds.
Behind him, Krallbait, Nabeh and Uskok kept reshuffling. Nabeh collected four kills between 381 and 431 seconds, but his own Flak Cannon suicides at 144 and 441 cost him two points. Uskok stayed in touch through short-range exchanges, while Krallbait remained particularly dangerous with the Flak Cannon. None of them, however, managed to knock KST out of first place in this phase.
Two Double Kills and one costly mistake
The middle of the match produced the liveliest multikill exchange. Uskok killed Nabeh at 474 seconds, Krallbait at 481 and KST at 484; the last frag was recorded as a Double Kill and moved Uskok to 10 points. Nabeh answered immediately: he killed KST at 489 and Krallbait two seconds later, also earning a Double Kill. KST still had 15 points, but the field had closed and the match suddenly looked more open again.
At 543 seconds KST also committed a Flak Cannon suicide and fell from 15 to 14. Krallbait then started trimming the gap with repeated Flak Cannon kills and reached 13 points at 638 seconds, only two behind the leader at that moment. That was exactly where the match turned. One second later KST killed Krallbait with the Link Gun and began the longest spree of the entire game.
Seven kills and the end of the chase
From 639 through 785 seconds KST collected seven kills without dying. After Krallbait fell, Uskok was next, then Nabeh twice to the Bio Rifle, followed by Nabeh to a Shock Combo, another Shock Combo and finally the Stinger. KST's score climbed from 15 to 21 and the small cushion became a far safer margin. Krallbait ended the spree at 791 seconds with the Bio Rifle, but the damage was already done: KST had created a gap nobody could erase.
The closing stretch became more of a race for second place. Nabeh reached 19, Krallbait 20 and Uskok 18, while Nabeh scored the only headshot of the match at 1011 seconds with the Sniper Rifle on Krallbait. KST still added points at the right moments: he was on 27 by 998 seconds, made it 29 with a Bio Rifle kill on Nabeh at 1113, and finished at 1134. The final Bio Rifle hit on Uskok from 36.5 meters was also the longest kill of the match and sealed the 30:20 score.

- Uskok and Nabeh both recorded Double Kills within seven seconds, at 484 and 491.

- The final frag was also the longest: KST hit Uskok with the Bio Rifle from 36.5 meters.
The final 30:20 for KST looks comfortable, but the path was layered. Krallbait led early, Uskok and Nabeh disrupted the middle, and KST even lost a point to a suicide. The key was that after retaking first place at 252 seconds, KST never surrendered it and added the seven-kill run beginning at 639. His final Bio Rifle hit from 36.5 meters was also the match's longest kill. DM-Codex therefore rewarded variety rather than one trick: Shock Combos, Bio Rifle, rockets and Stinger all mattered.
