Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: Anub1ss (134 dmg) · airborne kills: 17 · gutsiest kill: Anub1ss (5 HP)
Match verdict: Anub1ss won Normal Deathmatch on DM-Rankin-2010 by 30–12 because the opening Double Kill set the lead, a ten-kill midgame streak protected it and item collection supported sustained pressure. Even the nine-kill eighth minute did not change the player in front.
Humans vs bots
The war of the camps: how many kills fell between humans and bots in each direction. Reveals who really won the war of species. best human Anub1ss (30 kills) vs best bot Municak (0 kills).
Anub1ss earns MVP honours with 30 points, a ten-kill spree, two Double Kills and seven immediate revenge kills. Jano deserves credit for stopping the spree and claiming six immediate revenges, while hemeroid posted a six-kill spree of his own.
Anub1ss rules Rankin with thirty kills and no lead loss
One opening blast set the direction, but Rankin still had plenty of arguments to settle.
On September 23, 2026, DM-Rankin-2010 hosted a Normal Deathmatch lasting nine minutes and thirty-one seconds. Five names appeared on the scoreboard: Anub1ss, hemeroid, silent_, Jano and Municak. The final standings suggest a landslide: Anub1ss reached the thirty-point target with just six deaths, while hemeroid and silent_ both finished on twelve, Jano scored seven and Municak ended on minus one. Yet the event log tells a more textured story. The champion never surrendered the lead, not even for a moment, but opponents repeatedly interrupted his attacks and pursued smaller, fiercely contested prizes. Some of the evening’s most memorable moves came from players nowhere near first place.
Fourteen seconds to draw first blood
At 0:14, Anub1ss strikes Jano with a Shock Combo for the authoritative first blood. One second later, he uses the same method against hemeroid for a Double Kill. Before the first minute expires, his score has already reached five. Jano answers at 0:26 with a Bio Rifle kill on hemeroid, only to lose a point to his own rocket at 0:37. Municak records a self-inflicted death at eighteen seconds, finishing a very brief appearance on minus one.
The challengers are not simply extras. silent_ hits Jano twice with the Stinger, while hemeroid opens his account with a Flak Cannon kill at 1:35. Anub1ss moves from rockets to flak and sniper shots, reaching seven points by 1:52. At 1:58, Jano kills silent_ with a rocket but also dies to his own rocket in that very second. Scoring and failing to improve the score simultaneously is a particularly brutal form of efficiency.
A challenge from silent_ and a ten-kill run
At 2:12, silent_ finally knocks down the leader with a Shock Combo from 31.3 metres and quickly adds another Shock Combo kill against Jano. The score is still 7–5 in Anub1ss’s favour, however. At 2:40, Anub1ss eliminates Jano with the Shock Rifle and launches the longest uninterrupted spree of the contest. Link Gun, Stinger, Shock Combo, Sniper Rifle and Bio Rifle all contribute. This is not someone dependent on a single favourite weapon.
By 3:14, Anub1ss has twelve points and another Double Kill, this time against hemeroid. The tally rises to fourteen, then to fifteen after the match’s longest quiet gap: 33 seconds between 3:41 and 4:14. At 5:12, the leader reaches seventeen. One second later, Jano ends the ten-kill spree with the Flak Cannon. Considering that Jano also gave away three points through self-inflicted deaths, stopping the dominant run is an especially valuable line on his résumé.
The real race unfolds behind the leader
In the middle phase, the battle for second place grows more interesting than the chase for first. silent_ holds a narrow advantage before hemeroid starts closing it: a rocket against Jano, another against silent_, and then two Flak Cannon kills against silent_. By 6:20 they are tied at eight points. Anub1ss, meanwhile, claims his twentieth point at 6:22 and pushes on to twenty-two with his sniper rifle.
The eighth minute, 7:00–7:59, is the busiest of the match with nine kills. hemeroid passes ten points and even rockets Anub1ss at 7:59. silent_ also kills the leader at 7:11 and 7:40. None of it produces a lead change. The fiercest head-to-head pairing is instead silent_ versus Jano, with fifteen mutual eliminations: nine by silent_ and six by Jano. Their running argument dominates the duel count even as the trophy moves farther out of reach.
Five final points and a clean finish
Anub1ss sits on twenty-three at 7:35 and twenty-four at 7:50. hemeroid reaches thirteen at 7:59, but an accidental Shock Rifle death at 9:02 cuts his final total back to twelve. silent_ reaches twelve at 8:15, leaving second and third tied on points. Jano, meanwhile, scores a few late answers and ends on seven points.
The closing passage belongs to Anub1ss. Between 8:46 and 8:57 he eliminates hemeroid, Jano and silent_, with a sniper headshot on the last victim. At 9:17 comes the longest recorded kill of the entire match: a Sniper Rifle shot against silent_ from 37.8 metres. Five seconds later, he adds a second headshot, this time against Jano. At 9:30, a Shock Rifle hit on hemeroid delivers exactly thirty points and ends the affair. It is a decisive final punctuation mark, rather than a surprise reversal.

The headline score, 30–12, looks one-sided, but a second story unfolded underneath it. hemeroid assembled a six-kill spree; silent_ took out the leader more than once; and Jano personally broke the evening’s longest run. Average survival time reinforces the gap in consistency: Anub1ss stayed alive for 81 seconds, hemeroid for 43, silent_ for 25 and Jano for only 17, while Municak averaged nine. More time alive meant more opportunities to build an attack. Rankin offered no miraculous comeback. Instead, it produced a demonstration of sustained control under regular pressure, plus a surprisingly noisy battle for the remaining podium places.
