MVP goes to Halu for 30 points, a 16-frag streak and eight revenge kills; Uskok gets the timing award for ending that streak. Comboholic owns first blood and the distance record, although the slime charged him a very expensive four-suicide fee.
Halu conquers DM-Deck with a crushing 16-frag streak
Comboholic drew first blood, but once Halu took the lead, DM-Deck became a Shock Combo laboratory under his control.
DM-Deck opened cautiously, but the calm lasted only nineteen seconds. Comboholic claimed first blood on Smrtak with the Enforcer and briefly sat alone at the top. Halu answered six seconds later with a Shock Combo on Rockjock, though it was not yet a runaway, only the first warning. When Comboholic fell into the slime at 40 seconds, the lead shifted to Halu and never returned. The duel lasted 446 seconds with a 30-frag goal, and although the final 30:6 score looks brutally one-sided, the opening minutes contained enough trades to show that the winner first had to build control before turning the match into a rout.
First blood, then the only change of leader
Comboholic started fastest, dropping Smrtak with the Enforcer at 19 seconds. Halu answered at 25 with a Shock Combo on Rockjock, and Comboholic's slime suicide at 40 seconds left Halu in front. Rockjock struck back with the Sniper Rifle at 52 seconds, and Smrtak removed Rockjock with a Rocket Launcher at 64. Then came the longest quiet spell of the match: 32 seconds without a kill.
After that pause, Halu began collecting points with more consistency. He eliminated Rockjock twice with Shock Combos at 96 and 105 seconds. Comboholic stayed relevant, killing Rockjock and then hitting Halu twice with the Sniper Rifle at 154 and 165 seconds. The second shot, from 39.9 metres, was the longest kill of the entire match. But Comboholic's four suicides, all expensive in a relatively close opening, repeatedly erased part of the progress he had earned with his weapons.
Halu accelerates and Shock Combo becomes the rule
From 177 seconds onward, the shape of the match started to change. Halu picked off Smrtak with the Shock Rifle, then Rockjock with the same weapon, and at 194 seconds added a Shock Combo on Smrtak to complete his first Double Kill. Nine seconds later Rockjock fell to the Flak Cannon. Comboholic stopped Halu with the Stinger at 208 seconds, but the eventual winner was already beginning to set the pace.
The important detail was not only volume but weapon flexibility. Halu scored twice with the Bio Rifle, used the Flak Cannon and later the Rocket Launcher, yet Shock Combo remained the backbone: 18 of his 30 kills came that way. Across the entire match there were 19 Shock Combo kills, making it the most lethal technique by a wide margin. Halu also recorded eight immediate revenge kills, evidence that after being killed he often answered directly against the same opponent instead of letting momentum drift away.
The sixth minute turns a lead into an avalanche
The decisive break arrived at 306 seconds. In the same second Halu removed Smrtak and Rockjock with Shock Combos and began a streak that would stop only at 16 kills. By 342 seconds he had added Comboholic, Rockjock again, another Comboholic, then Smrtak three times in quick succession. His score surged from 13 to 21, and from that point the other players were no longer fighting for the lead; they were trying to become the person who could finally interrupt the run.
The sixth minute was the busiest with ten kills, and the seventh minute also produced ten. During that stretch Halu mixed Shock Combo, Shock Rifle and Rocket Launcher, resolving most fights at short to medium range. His average kill distance was 17.1 metres. Smrtak became the most frequent opponent in Halu's main rivalry, with Halu winning their direct kill count 11:1, while Rockjock and Comboholic kept trading enough kills to keep second place from becoming completely static.
Uskok ends the streak, Halu closes the account
Late in the match, Doskok and Uskok became more visible. Doskok took his only frag at 379 seconds, killing Comboholic with the Flak Cannon. Uskok arrived late but made three kills count: at 427 seconds he used the Enforcer to kill Halu and end the 16-frag streak, then followed with Stinger kills on Rockjock and Comboholic. His 22.9-metre average kill distance was actually the highest among all players who registered a kill.
Halu needed only one point after the streak was broken. At 445 seconds he found Uskok and ended the duel with another Shock Combo, reaching the target of 30. Rockjock finished second on 6, Comboholic third on 5 and Uskok fourth on 3. Halu died only eight times, dealt 4510 damage and averaged 49 seconds per life, the best survival figure in the field. The finish was therefore not a desperate sprint but a controlled final step after the decisive separation had already happened.
Match moments
- Comboholic claimed first blood at 19 seconds with the Enforcer against Smrtak.
- After Comboholic's suicide at 40 seconds, Halu took the lead; it was the only lead change of the match.
- Comboholic's 39.9-metre Sniper Rifle kill on Halu at 165 seconds was the longest kill of the game.
- Halu produced 18 Shock Combo kills, making that technique the main engine of his advantage.
- From 306 to 427 seconds, Halu built a 16-frag streak that was finally ended by Uskok.
- The sixth minute was busiest with ten kills, and the seventh minute also contained ten.
- The final frag came at 445 seconds when Halu hit Uskok with a Shock Combo to complete the 30:6 result.
Halu's 30:6 result needs little decoration, but the match was more interesting than the final gap suggests. Comboholic opened the scoring and hit Halu twice with the Sniper Rifle, Rockjock held second place, and Uskok earned the distinction of ending the longest streak of the match. The real difference was Halu's ability to convert every short advantage into another frag. Once the 16-kill march began at 306 seconds, DM-Deck stopped asking who would win and started asking only how far the streak could continue before someone finally broke it.
