hemeroid survives the chaos and takes thirty on Devastation
Six lead changes, rockets everywhere, and a finish in which hemeroid turned a three-way deadlock into a 30:26 victory.
DM-1on1-Devastation was no quiet duel. Five names, 927 seconds and a thirty-point target produced a match where the order kept shifting. hemeroid struck first at 13 seconds with the Rocket Launcher and built an early cushion. Jano answered with rockets, Jumpboots disrupted the table with precise shots, while Telefrag and KST kept stealing points from the leaders. Six lead changes followed. At 900 seconds, hemeroid and Jano were tied on 25 with Jumpboots on 24, turning the finish into a pure survival test.
Bio Rifle opened the account and hemeroid escaped early
First blood arrived at 13 seconds when hemeroid hit Jano with the Rocket Launcher. Nine seconds later the Bio Rifle took down KST, then Jano again at 34 seconds. After one minute hemeroid led 3:1 over Jano and KST, while Jumpboots had already managed to lose a point by killing himself with the Flak Cannon. The start was not just quick but brutally efficient: by 178 seconds hemeroid had seven points, and the Bio Rifle was already becoming his signature tool.
Jumpboots then proved that nobody owns Devastation without paying for it. At 138 seconds he hit hemeroid with the Sniper Rifle from 48.2 metres, the longest kill of the match. Jano was meanwhile warming up with the Rocket Launcher, but his early suicides were already eating away at the points he had earned. That let hemeroid keep the lead even when he no longer had the highest kill tempo.
Jano spun up the rockets and the table started to crack
Between the fourth and seventh minutes, Jano turned into a mobile launch platform. At 289 and 291 seconds he killed hemeroid and Jumpboots, with the second hit registering a Double Kill. Another Double Kill came at 391 seconds, and that was the moment Jano first moved ahead, reaching ten points to hemeroid nine. It was the first true change at the top after the opening escape by hemeroid.
Then the match became absurdly quiet for a moment: after 311 seconds came the longest kill-free pause, 52 seconds. The arena soon accelerated again. Telefrag recorded his first kill at 378 seconds, KST dropped hemeroid with the Bio Rifle six seconds later, and by 418 seconds the lead was wide open. Jano held it briefly, but a suicide at 422 seconds knocked him from ten to nine and put hemeroid back in front.
Seven unanswered kills kept hemeroid afloat
From 418 to 542 seconds, hemeroid produced the longest spree of the match: seven kills. Four of those Bio Rifle victims were KST or Telefrag, one kill came with the Shock Rifle from 36.6 metres, and another with the Rocket Launcher. The run moved hemeroid from ten to sixteen points and bought breathing room exactly while Jano was stacking rocket kills. KST ended the spree at 542 seconds with the Link Gun, and the same sequence earned him a Double Kill. Average life also showed hemeroid's stability: 48 seconds versus Jano 29, Jumpboots 28, Telefrag 23 and KST 29. Immediate revenges belonged to Jano with 11, ahead of Jumpboots 10, hemeroid 9, KST 7 and Telefrag 6.
The tenth minute was the wildest of the whole game with 14 kills. Telefrag added his own Flak Cannon Double Kill at 554 seconds, Jano stayed within striking distance, and at 606 seconds he used the Bio Rifle to tie hemeroid at 18:18. The lead kept changing after that. Jano moved to 19:18 at 652 seconds, then to 20 and 21, while Jumpboots and KST punished every opening. On this version of Devastation, no score was safe.
Suicides opened the door, the final burst slammed it shut
In the last third, Jano was still the biggest offensive threat. He finished with 33 kills, including 29 with the Rocket Launcher, but seven suicides worked like a tax on aggression. At 819 seconds he reached 24 points; thirteen seconds later another rocket suicide dropped him back to 23. hemeroid had matched the pace around him, and at 900 seconds the board showed an almost ridiculous picture: hemeroid 25, Jano 25, Jumpboots 24.
The decisive final twenty seconds belonged to hemeroid. At 907 he killed Jano with the Bio Rifle to move ahead 26:25. Telefrag killed Jano six seconds later, but hemeroid kept going: Jumpboots for 27, KST for 28, then Jumpboots with the Link Gun for 29. At 927 seconds came the period: Link Gun, Jano as the victim, and a Double Kill. hemeroid reached thirty exactly when it mattered and won 30:26.

The final score of 30:26 looks calmer than the route that produced it. hemeroid won because his aggression converted into points with far less self-inflicted damage: 31 kills and one suicide, compared with Jano 33 kills and seven suicides. Jumpboots remained within reach until the final half-minute and finished on 24, Telefrag collected 17, and KST 13. Devastation delivered exactly what its name promises: rockets, bio sludge, flak, brief stretches of silence, and then a finish in which the scoreboard refused to settle until the last seconds.
