Humans vs bots

MVP goes to hemeroid for the 30:26 win and flawless finish. Jumpboots takes the spree crown with seven kills, KST owns the range award at 36.5 metres, and Jano and hemeroid share the revenge prize with 11 immediate revenge kills each.
DM-Edge: hemeroid survives rockets and steals the finish
Jano had more kills and Jumpboots the longest spree, but hemeroid owned the final word and the thirtieth point.
DM-Edge was not decided by one explosion but by a chain of small swings that became one major comeback. hemeroid opened the scoring after only six seconds, sending Jano to the first respawn with the Bio Rifle, but the calm lasted no time at all. Jumpboots answered with two rapid kills, turned the second into a Double Kill, and launched the longest spree of the match. Jano gradually found his rhythm with the Rocket Launcher while KST kept collecting points with the Stinger. Fifteen minutes and twenty-eight seconds later, only one line mattered: hemeroid had 30, Jano 26, and the finish belonged to the green chemistry of the Bio Rifle.
The first 163 seconds belonged to Jumpboots
First blood arrived at 0:06 when hemeroid hit Jano with the Bio Rifle from 8.6 metres. At 0:20 Jumpboots dropped hemeroid with the Link Gun and one second later killed Jano with the same weapon for a Double Kill. He kept going, adding kills on hemeroid, Jano and KST until 2:32 and stretching the run to seven kills without dying, the longest spree of the match.
The spree ended at 2:43 when Jano caught Jumpboots with the Rocket Launcher. That was an important warning because Jano was accelerating after a slow start. hemeroid stayed close through Bio Rifle work and KST kept mixing into the standings with the Stinger. Telefrag, meanwhile, lasted only 19 seconds, recorded a self-kill, fell to -1 and left before the main fight fully developed.
Rockets carried Jano to the lead
From the third minute the match started to look like Janos rocket shift. At 3:29 he killed hemeroid to move to 8:7, then struck the same opponent again at 3:41. Even a suicide at 3:48 did not stop the pace. The fifth minute became the busiest period of the match with 11 kills, and the lead repeatedly compressed and shifted among Jano, hemeroid and Jumpboots.
hemeroid answered with a Rocket Launcher Double Kill at 4:49 against KST and Jumpboots, reaching 12 points and briefly taking control. Jano kept firing: the Rocket Launcher produced 22 of his kills over the whole match. By 6:10 he had climbed to 14, soon reached 16, and at 8:09 sat on 19 to hemeroids 15. The official data records nine lead changes, and this central phase explains why.
The Bio Rifle began to erase the gap
After the eighth minute the deficit stopped growing. hemeroid returned to the weapon that had worked since first blood: the Bio Rifle. He hit Jano from 15.6 metres at 8:44, traded a kill with KST at 9:30, and from 11:01 launched the decisive chase. He first removed KST, then hit Jano twice at 11:11 and 11:20. A third kill on Jano at 11:44 made it 23:23.
From there it was a nerve contest rather than a pursuit. hemeroid went 24:23 with a kill on KST, Jano tied 24:24 through Jumpboots, and hemeroid moved ahead again at 25:24. At 13:11 Jano rocketed hemeroid for 25:25. KST was more than background noise: his average kill distance of 13.1 metres was the highest among the four active scorers, and at 14:24 he landed the match-longest kill, a 36.5-metre Rocket Launcher hit on hemeroid.
Janos penalties opened the door and hemeroid kicked it in
At 13:40 Jano reached 26 points, but his own explosions damaged the finish. After another kill he was on 27 at 14:12 and level with hemeroid, then at 14:41 a Rocket Launcher suicide dropped him to 26. Fourteen seconds later another suicide, this time with the Bio Rifle, pushed him down to 25. Jano finished with 32 kills, the most in the match, but six suicides erased a decisive portion of that work.
Then came the final burst. Jano killed KST at 15:02 to return to 26 and Jumpboots killed Jano at 15:08, but hemeroid no longer released control. At 15:18 he killed Jano with the Bio Rifle from 18 metres; at 15:23 he hit Jano again from 29.8 metres for point 29. Four seconds later Jumpboots fell from 27.6 metres. Point 30, match over. hemeroids final three kills came in nine seconds and every one was delivered by the Bio Rifle.

After the 34-second longest quiet spell in the second half, he steadily built the platform for the finish. The last nine seconds then turned a tight duel into a clean entry in the UT3.SK chronicle.
