Match verdict: The decisive phase began at 26:49, when Dikobr took the final lead and never returned it; his four-point burst from 38:16 to 39:12 created the separation that held. Fewer suicides than Zamerovac and the match-high damage total turned 38 kills into a 30-point win, ahead of Gibsmith on 22 and Zamerovac on 21.

MVP goes to Dikobr for the 30-point win and match-high 7,660 damage dealt. Zamerovac takes the spree award with nine kills and also led with 23 revenge kills, while Gibsmith earns credit for ending that spree and posting the longest average life at 60 seconds.

DM-Deck: Dikobr Survives Zamerovac's Nine-Kill Surge

DM-Deck hosted a Deathmatch on August 16 in which the scoreboard refused to settle. Zamerovac drew first blood at 0:31 with a Flak Cannon kill on Gibsmith, and Dikobr answered 22 seconds later with a Shock Combo on Zamerovac. From there, all three players took turns at the top during a match lasting 44 minutes and 40 seconds, with eight official lead changes. Gibsmith collected the most items, Zamerovac produced the fiercest streak, but Dikobr kept assembling the number that mattered most: net score. He was the only player to reach the 30-point goal, although DM-Deck made him earn the final point repeatedly.

Early chaos: the lead keeps changing hands

First blood belonged to Zamerovac, who dropped Gibsmith with the Flak Cannon from 12.3 meters at 0:31. Dikobr entered at 0:53 with a Shock Combo on Zamerovac, and by 1:56 the score was 1:1:1. Gibsmith became the second solo leader at 2:16 when a Rocket Launcher kill made it 2:1:1. Zamerovac answered in the fifth minute and reached five points at 5:48 after two close-range Flak kills in quick succession.

DM-Deck then reminded everyone that self-inflicted damage also moves the table. Zamerovac lost a point to his own Shock Rifle at 6:56, putting Gibsmith back in front at 5:4:4. Ties and brief advantages followed until Dikobr killed Gibsmith with the Flak Cannon at 9:01 and led alone for the first time, 7:6:5. Zamerovac immediately produced the match's first Double Kill with a Redeemer at 9:17, but Dikobr answered with a Shock Combo and stayed in the leading group.

Silence, then Zamerovac erupts for nine

Dikobr reached 15 points by 17:19, yet Zamerovac was still dangerous. At 17:45 he hit Dikobr with a Shock Rifle from 46.9 meters, the longest kill of the match. Soon the rhythm disappeared completely: after Gibsmith's Shock Rifle kill at 18:26, no one scored for 98 seconds. That was the longest quiet stretch, and it ended at exactly 20:04 when Zamerovac began the strongest spree of the game.

From 20:04 until Gibsmith stopped him at 22:17, Zamerovac scored nine kills without being killed by an opponent. Rocket Launcher, Flak Cannon, Redeemer and especially Link Gun dragged him back from a deep deficit, with Double Kills at 21:10 and 21:21. The 22nd minute became the busiest of the match with eight kills. Gibsmith ended the nine-kill spree with the Flak Cannon, but the damage was done: after Dikobr fell into slime the score reached 15:15, and at 22:52 Zamerovac used the Redeemer to take a 16:15 lead.

Two reversals, then Dikobr creates separation

Dikobr needed only 37 seconds to answer. He tied the score with the Shock Rifle at 22:57 and took a 17:16 lead at 23:29 with a Shock Combo on Gibsmith. Zamerovac had one more charge: he tied it 18:18 at 25:08 and killed Dikobr with the Flak Cannon at 25:30 to lead 19:18. Eight seconds later, however, his own Rocket Launcher removed that point. At 26:49 Dikobr hit Zamerovac with a Rocket Launcher, moved to 19:18, and the eighth lead change became the last.

Gibsmith still made the leader work. A late-middle run brought him to 20 points at 34:18 while Dikobr sat on 22. Dikobr answered with Rocket Launcher kills at 35:07 and 35:21, then delivered the decisive scoring burst. From 38:16 to 39:12 he killed Gibsmith with a Shock Combo, Zamerovac with another Shock Combo, added a Double Kill two seconds later with the Shock Rifle on Gibsmith, and closed the run with a Rocket Launcher kill. Four fast points took him from 24 to 28.

Twice on 29, twice back down — then the Redeemer

Dikobr reached 29 at 40:55 with a Rocket Launcher kill on Gibsmith, but the finish turned into a test of nerves. Gibsmith hit him with the Flak Cannon at 41:28, and at 41:53 Dikobr lost a point to his own Shock Rifle, falling to 28. Zamerovac then fired a Redeemer at 42:20 that killed Dikobr and Gibsmith while also recording Zamerovac's own death. Twenty-one seconds later, Zamerovac lost another point in slime.

Dikobr climbed back to 29 at 43:23 with a slime kill on Gibsmith. Again it did not stick: at 43:55 he killed himself with the Rocket Launcher and returned to 28. One second later he killed Gibsmith with slime and reached 29 for the third time. The match finally ended at 44:39, one second before the recorded duration expired, when Dikobr hit Gibsmith with a Redeemer from 40.8 meters. Point 30 made the final score 30:22:21 and ended a finish that had rejected two earlier attempts to be over.

  • Dikobr scored the winning 30th point at 44:39 with a 40.8-meter Redeemer kill on Gibsmith.

The final 30:22:21 looks calmer than the match felt. Zamerovac recorded 37 kills, only one fewer than Dikobr, but 16 suicides erased a huge share of that work. Gibsmith turned 31 kills and nine suicides into second place and repeatedly interrupted opposing momentum. Dikobr won with the highest damage output, fewer self-inflicted losses than Zamerovac, and the cleanest late scoring burst. Even after twice dropping from 29 back to 28, he still found the one last Redeemer shot that finally convinced DM-Deck the contest was over.

    Who killed with what

Each player's kills split by weapon. Reveals every fighter's favorite tool.

Rocket Launcher led all weapons with 23 kills, followed by Flak Cannon with 19 and Redeemer with 15. Dikobr had 11 rocket kills and eight Shock Combos, Gibsmith had ten Flak kills, while Zamerovac scored nine each with Redeemer and Rocket Launcher; the only headshot was Dikobr with the Sniper Rifle at 30:31.

The distance data points to mostly short- and medium-range fights, so the winning plan had to combine splash control with safer Shock Rifle spacing. Dikobr switched effectively between Rocket Launcher and Shock Combo, then used slime and Redeemer late instead of relying on one engagement type. Gibsmith’s heavy item collection supported the best average survival time, but his Flak emphasis pulled him toward closer fights. Zamerovac had the broadest explosive threat, yet aggressive Redeemer and Rocket Launcher use also produced too many self-inflicted losses.
