hemeroid survives Spliff shootout and wins 30 to 25
Spliff turned into a relay race for the lead, but hemeroid kept the final word after a chaotic middle phase.
DM-1on1-Spliff was anything but a quiet duel: five names entered and every point immediately became contested. Trefa eliminated himself after five seconds and left early, so the real fight quickly narrowed to hemeroid, Jano, Poskok and Kropic. First blood belonged to Kropic, who dropped Poskok with the Bio Rifle at 17 seconds. Then hemeroid arrived. From second 32 he launched the longest spree of the match and built the first meaningful cushion before the fourth minute. Yet this Deathmatch recorded five lead changes, and calm lasted only until somebody found a Rocket Launcher.
A fast opening and hemeroid's eight-kill wave
After Kropic's first blood, hemeroid took over the opening. At 32, 47 and 74 seconds he killed Jano three times in succession, first with the Stinger and then twice with rockets. Poskok stayed close through point-blank Flak Cannon fights, while Kropic collected points with the Bio Rifle, Shock Rifle and Stinger. hemeroid kept going: by 218 seconds he had assembled eight kills without an opponent stopping the run. The spree ended only with his own Rocket Launcher suicide at 223 seconds, which is why the computed data lists no opposing player as the one who ended it.
That first phase also revealed the match's lasting pattern. hemeroid could score from farther away than the others and moved between Stinger, Rocket Launcher and Bio Rifle. Jano was slow out of the gate but kept trusting the rockets. Poskok leaned heavily on the Flak Cannon, making close range feel like walking into a door that had just been slammed shut.
Jano flips the middle, and Poskok joins the chase
From the fifth minute onward, the early gap began to disappear. Between 305 and 398 seconds Jano landed a run of important Rocket Launcher kills, reaching ten points at 349 seconds after hitting hemeroid. Twenty seconds later another hemeroid kill put him on 11, and at 377 seconds he reached 12 by fragging Poskok. Poskok was pushing at the same time with Flak Cannon and rockets; he reached ten at 346 seconds and stayed beside Jano in the race.
The eighth minute was the busiest of the match with ten kills. The scoreboard moved so quickly that it looked more like a blinking signal than a calm graph. At 446 seconds Poskok tied Jano at 15:15, and eighteen seconds later a kill on hemeroid moved him to 16. hemeroid was only on 12 at that point, and his early lead looked like an old photograph. The match, however, was nowhere near settled.
Bio Rifle carries hemeroid back to the front
From 475 seconds hemeroid rebuilt his position one clean hit at a time. The Bio Rifle took Poskok, then Kropic; the Stinger followed with Jano, Jano and Jano again. At 551 seconds, after a Bio Rifle kill on Kropic, hemeroid had 18 points and was back ahead of the pursuers. Jano and Poskok still returned to contact: at 619 seconds Jano tied Poskok on 20, and twelve seconds later Jano, Poskok and hemeroid were all level on 21.
Then came one of the purest moments of the match. At 624 seconds hemeroid hit Jano with the Bio Rifle from 40.4 metres, the longest kill of the entire game. Nineteen seconds later he killed Jano again and then Poskok, so from 643 seconds onward he held the lead alone. His average kill distance was 20.3 metres, well above Kropic's 13.4 and the 11 metres posted by both Jano and Poskok. That was not just a stat; it was a form of space control.
Forty-six seconds of silence, then a hard finish
After 668 seconds, when Jano killed Poskok with a rocket and also recorded a suicide, the match entered a calmer stretch. Later, following hemeroid's kill on Jano at 748 seconds, came the longest pause of the game: 46 seconds without a frag. It ended at 794 seconds when hemeroid's Stinger found Kropic. From there, the final 76 seconds turned into a sprint.
hemeroid hit Kropic and then Poskok, Poskok answered with the Flak Cannon, and Jano twice took hemeroid with rockets. Kropic mixed into the finish with kills on Jano and Poskok, but hemeroid no longer released the lead. At 846 seconds he killed Jano with the Stinger for 28:25, at 861 he added a rocket for 29:25, and at 870 another rocket closed the match at 30:25. No multikill, no headshot—just a chain of single hits landing on the right side at the right time.
