hemeroid tames Akeldama and survives the wild finish
Akeldama slapped everyone around early, but hemeroid gradually turned the chaos into a lead nobody could dismantle.
DM-Akeldama wasted no time. At 27 seconds hemeroid grabbed first blood on Deemer with the Bio Rifle, then added Zamerovac eleven seconds later. The response was immediate: Zamerovac answered with the Rocket Launcher, and hemeroid then donated a point back with a Bio Rifle suicide. Deemer meanwhile opened a private account against Jano, killing him three times in succession; the third came from 53.2 metres with the Sniper Rifle and became the only headshot of the match. The opening minutes were chaotic, with kills, falls and self-inflicted losses constantly reshuffling the order.
Early leads and expensive mistakes
Deemer used his strong opening to move in front, reaching 4:3 over hemeroid at 190 seconds. At 217 he landed another Rocket Launcher kill on hemeroid and made it 5:4. Then the match suddenly went quiet: the longest dry spell lasted 50 seconds after that kill. It gave the chasing pack a rare chance to reset.
Jano had the opposite kind of opening. Repeated deaths and suicides dragged him all the way to -4 by 263 seconds, while Deemer was already building a useful margin. Jano did not stay there. From 353 seconds onward he began repairing the score with the Rocket Launcher and Flak Cannon. hemeroid kept close largely through the Bio Rifle, tied Deemer 7:7 at 396 seconds, and then delivered the decisive change at 423: a Rocket Launcher kill on Jano put him 8:7 ahead of Deemer. He never surrendered first place again.
Jano climbs out, the Bio Rifle compounds interest
The middle of the match developed two stories at once. Jano attacked his deficit through Deemer. Between 623 and 746 seconds he killed Deemer five times, first with three Bio Rifle kills and then twice with the Flak Cannon. From -4 he pushed into positive territory and at 713 seconds reached 8 points, one ahead of Deemer. Their duel became the busiest head-to-head rivalry of the match: Jano killed Deemer 15 times, while Deemer returned 10.
hemeroid, meanwhile, did not need to be the loudest player to be the most efficient. His Bio Rifle produced 16 kills, exactly half of his 32 frags, while his average life of 74 seconds was far longer than Jano's 34, Deemer's 37 or Zamerovac's 45. He also collected 36 items, the most in the lobby. A Bio Rifle kill on Jano at 828 seconds started the match's longest spree: six kills without dying, lasting until 1053.
Minute nineteen: Akeldama without brakes
The nineteenth minute was the busiest of the night with eight kills. Rocket Launcher, Stinger, Flak Cannon and Bio Rifle all appeared in a frantic stretch where the table moved too quickly for comfort. At 1050 seconds Zamerovac dropped Jano with the Flak Cannon and three seconds later used the same weapon to kill hemeroid, ending the leader's six-kill spree. It counted as a Double Kill and, more importantly, reminded hemeroid that his lead still required attention.
Zamerovac also owned the longest shot of the match. At 983 seconds he hit Deemer with the Shock Rifle from 77.4 metres. Deemer, for his part, finished with the highest average kill distance at 16.5 metres and the match's only headshot. Yet both were heavily taxed by self-inflicted mistakes: Deemer recorded six suicides and Zamerovac nine. In a race to 30, that is a brutal handicap, especially when hemeroid gave away only two points to himself.
The chase that ran out of road
After the twentieth minute Jano hit his strongest phase. He reached 17 points at 1234 seconds, 18 at 1267 and 19 at 1303. hemeroid advanced in parallel from 24 to 25, 26 and then 27. Jano still clipped him with a Stinger from 50.4 metres at 1353 seconds to reach 20, but hemeroid answered nine seconds later with the same weapon. His 13 immediate revenge kills were the most of any player, and those quick responses repeatedly stopped opponents from turning one frag into a sustained swing.
At 29 points the leader received two late warnings. Jano killed him with the Bio Rifle at 1391 seconds, and Zamerovac followed four seconds later with the Rocket Launcher. Jano then lost a point to a suicide at 1413, falling from 21 to his final 20. One second later hemeroid found Zamerovac with the Rocket Launcher from 7.8 metres, reached the 30-point goal and ended the match after 1414 seconds. Four lead changes had occurred, but once hemeroid took over in the middle phase, nobody could remove him from the top.

Jano authored the biggest comeback, climbing from -4 to second place, but six self-inflicted losses limited how close he could get. Deemer and Zamerovac both had dangerous stretches and memorable long-range moments, yet their mistakes were costly. After 1414 seconds of Akeldama chaos, hemeroid walked away with a ten-point margin.
