KST Stops Rachot’s Wild Late Charge on DM-CarbonFire
When Rachot unleashed the rockets, KST answered with composure and one last Shock Combo.
DM-CarbonFire welcomed KST, Rachot, Longshot and Nanoblack for 25 minutes and 40 seconds of Normal Deathmatch. The objective was simple: reach 30 points first. Yet between a shot and a point there were rockets, unexpected falls, self-inflicted mistakes and instant revenge. KST eventually won 30–25 over Rachot; Longshot ended on 17 and Nanoblack on 12. The final margin makes the match look calmer than it felt. The lead changed three times, the pace lurched between frantic exchanges and long silences, and the closest challenger assembled the match's longest spree late on. On this map, the difference was not just aim: it was the ability to avoid turning one's own kills into lost points.
First blood, first advantage
The first log entry, after eight seconds, belonged to Nanoblack, but it was a self-inflicted point loss rather than an opponent's kill. The official First Blood came at 0:18, when Rachot eliminated Longshot with a Stinger from 10.6 metres. KST answered at 0:41 with a Bio Rifle kill on Nanoblack and repeated it at 1:05. By 1:23, after hitting Rachot as well, he led 3–2. Against the rockets and the Stinger, KST had chosen the wonderfully awkward weapon of biological persuasion.
Rachot was never a supporting actor in KST's highlight reel. He took out Longshot with a rocket at 1:19, stopped KST using a Sniper Rifle at 1:46, then added kills with a Link Gun and Flak Cannon. KST responded with a Shock Combo on Rachot at 3:03 for 6–5. Over the first five minutes Rachot had eight clean kills, while KST and Longshot had six each. At 5:08 KST's Stinger made the top two level at 7–7. The early lead offered no protection.
Bio Rifle dictates the middle
Around the sixth minute Nanoblack also demanded attention. He took out Rachot at 5:31 and 5:56 and caught KST with a rocket between those kills. But KST eliminated Rachot at 6:04 with the Bio Rifle, then struck Nanoblack and Longshot at 6:25 and 6:29. A 10–7 advantage over Rachot was finally meaningful. The repeated effectiveness of the same weapon showed that KST needed no spectacular multikill to keep adding points.
The ninth minute produced seven clean kills, the busiest minute in the precomputed figures, equalled by minute 23. At 8:40 KST downed Rachot with a Stinger; seven seconds later he hit Nanoblack with a Shock Rifle. Rachot collected points against Longshot, but KST's Bio Rifle hit on Rachot at 9:53 made it 15–11. At 9:46, meanwhile, Rachot had launched a rocket into Longshot from 60.5 metres. At 11:50 he went one better, sniping Nanoblack from 72.8 metres — the longest registered kill of the match. Even the rocket launcher deserved a brief rest.
Long silence, short lives
KST's Bio Rifle kill against Longshot at 13:35 earned his nineteenth point; a Link Gun kill at 13:57 made it twenty. He then lost one to a CampKiller at 14:22. Longshot enjoyed a productive stretch from 14:27 to 15:37, landing Shock Rifle shots, a Double Kill at 14:30 and another Double Kill at 15:37, this time when Nanoblack fell from a height. It was not a climb to first place: too often a death or a point deduction followed.
Survival figures explain why the standings never became entirely safe. KST lived 57 seconds on average, Rachot 53, Nanoblack 46 and Longshot only 34. Longshot recorded 25 kills but eight self-inflicted point losses reduced his final score to 17. Minute 13 saw only one clean kill, and after KST scored at 18:07 the log went quiet for a match-high 50 seconds. It was only silence on the scoreboard, not a promise of a gentle finish.
Rachot sprints; the final combo lands
When KST reached 25 at 19:52, Rachot still refused to concede. From 19:29 until 21:04 he strung together six kills before being stopped — the longest spree in the match. At 20:49 his Rocket Launcher claimed Nanoblack and Longshot, with the second hit registered as a Double Kill. A Flak Cannon elimination at 20:56 took him to 22 points. KST still had 25, but suddenly the pursuer was close enough to make the lead uncomfortable.
At 21:04 KST answered with a Shock Combo on Rachot himself. The spree ended and the score became 26–22; fourteen seconds later KST gained another point from Nanoblack's fall. A self-inflicted mistake at 22:14 dragged KST from 27 back to 26, and Rachot eventually reached 24, but the lead never flipped again. Longshot and Nanoblack continued harassing the leader before KST killed Longshot at 23:19, 23:44 and 25:05. The last blow, at 25:39, was a Shock Combo against Nanoblack from 30.5 metres. KST crossed the 30-point line with only 19 health left.

Longshot's 25 kills and Nanoblack's 19 showed how much damage the players lower down could do to the title fight. Nanoblack even led everyone with 12 immediate revenge kills. All told there were 107 clean kills, three lead changes and not a single headshot. This Deathmatch will not be remembered as a clinical sniping exhibition. It is better remembered as a warning that every point matters on DM-CarbonFire — and the points you donate yourself can hurt more than your opponent's rocket.
