Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: KST (65535 dmg) · airborne kills: 26 · gutsiest kill: KST (8 HP)
Match verdict: KST won 30–18–18–15 by maintaining a reliable scoring rate after the five-kill streak and preserving the gap once he reached 20 points at 16:32. Switching between Bio Rifle, Stinger and Shock Combo helped, as did being the only player without a suicide.
Humans vs bots
The war of the camps: how many kills fell between humans and bots in each direction. Reveals who really won the war of species. best human KST (30 kills) vs best bot Rachot (22 kills).
KST earns MVP for 30 points and the longest five-kill streak, eventually halted by Longshot. Rachot takes first blood, Longshot leads with ten instant revenge kills, and Nanoblack collected the most items (22); an award for 14 combined suicides might best go unpresented.
KST seals dramatic DM-CarbonFire win with Bio Rifle
Rachot fired first, Longshot broke the streak, and KST had the final word.
On October 8, 2026, DM-CarbonFire hosted a Normal Deathmatch that offered very little peace. Four contenders had 21 minutes and 40 seconds to reach the 30-point target. KST ultimately won with 30, but neither the first blood nor the early lead belonged to the eventual champion. Rachot, Longshot and Nanoblack each made sure this was more than a routine frag hunt, and the lead changed five times. The match recorded 95 kills against opponents and 14 self-inflicted deaths, a reminder that even one's own arsenal could be a threat. The decisive difference would be who could turn individual exchanges into a sustained lead rather than a brief moment of glory.
Rachot owns the first five seconds
At 0:05, Rachot opened the scoring by dropping Longshot with a Flak Cannon from 8.3 metres. It was the official first blood, and he wasted little time building on it. KST answered at 0:10 with a Shock Combo against Longshot, but at 0:24 Rachot caught KST and moved ahead 2–1. Another close-range hit on Nanoblack and a Link Gun kill at 1:19 raised Rachot's tally to four. Those opening exchanges favoured a fighter who was perfectly happy to bring the Flak Cannon into very personal conversations.
KST started responding with the Stinger and Link Gun. Longshot used the Shock Rifle, Rocket Launcher and Bio Rifle, but also lost a point in a Stinger suicide at 2:11. When he eliminated Rachot with the Bio Rifle at 2:27, Rachot replied with a Flak Cannon just one second later. The pattern was established early: a successful attack did not necessarily buy even a moment to celebrate.
Four contenders, one unstable lead
Nanoblack came alive around the fourth and fifth minutes. From 4:11 to 5:20 he eliminated Longshot four times, once using the Stinger and three times the Rocket Launcher. Longshot interrupted that run with a Link Gun kill at 5:00. Rachot remained involved near the top, while Longshot kept answering despite early suicides. KST's Bio Rifle kill against Rachot at 5:11 gave KST his fifth point and tied their scores at 5–5. The scoreboard was changing almost as fast as the players were returning to the fight.
Across the entire game the lead changed hands five times. Every emerging run met opposition from three directions. Rachot specialised in close quarters, Longshot increasingly leaned on the Link Gun, and Nanoblack mixed rockets with attacks at shorter and medium range. Those contrasting styles kept the outcome uncertain. KST was not yet comfortably clear, but the ability to switch tools for different encounters was beginning to matter.
A long silence and a five-kill streak
At 5:28 Rachot defeated Longshot with the Flak Cannon. Then came the longest quiet spell in the log: 62 seconds without a kill, ending at 6:30 when KST gained a point as Nanoblack fell from a height. Around this period KST produced the match's longest uninterrupted streak: five kills from 5:11 through 7:09, including hits on Rachot and Nanoblack. After the fifth, KST had just eight health points left. It was a streak, not a leisurely sightseeing trip.
Longshot ended the run at 7:17 with the Link Gun. Still, KST kept adding points: a Shock Combo against Rachot at 7:46, a Bio Rifle kill on Nanoblack at 9:59, and another Shock Combo against Longshot at 10:42. At 11:13 came the match's longest recorded kill, a Shock Rifle hit by KST on Longshot from 31.2 metres. That was below the 50-metre sniper-distance threshold, but no other recorded hit travelled farther. With KST reaching 14 points, the variety of weapons was looking increasingly deliberate.
No multikills, just reliable scoring
KST steadily extended the lead. A Stinger kill against Nanoblack at 12:46 brought point 15. At 13:20 KST and Longshot were involved in kills logged at the same second, including a credited fall death for Longshot. KST reached 18 at 15:01, 20 at 16:32 and 22 at 17:15. By 18:12 the total had climbed to 24. Nanoblack kept punishing the leader with the Link Gun, Shock Combo and Stinger, yet KST consistently returned to scoring rather than letting setbacks become a slump.
Curiously, no player registered a headshot and the log marked no Double Kill or higher multikill. KST's five-kill streak was about survival between kills, not several eliminations in one burst. The Link Gun was the deadliest weapon overall with 25 kills, followed by the Flak Cannon on 17 and Stinger on 15. KST personally made seven kills each with the Bio Rifle and Stinger, six with the Link Gun and four with Shock Combo. Versatility, not a single spectacular trick, was the foundation.
Eight kills in the penultimate minute
KST reached 25 points at 18:40, then 26 at 19:29, and 27 with a Shock Combo against Rachot at 20:05. Longshot still struck back using the Link Gun against Rachot and KST, plus a Sniper Rifle against the leader. Rachot also contributed kills at 20:28 and 20:34. The 21st match minute, from 20:00 through 20:59, became the busiest of all: eight kills. The final chase was frantic even though KST had already built an imposing advantage.
At 21:06 KST eliminated Rachot with the Bio Rifle and ten seconds later took point 29 when Nanoblack fell to his death. Rachot stopped KST one more time at 21:21 with the Flak Cannon; Nanoblack killed Longshot five seconds after that. The finishing point arrived precisely at 21:40: KST hit Longshot with the Bio Rifle from 16.4 metres. The final standings were KST 30, Rachot 18, Longshot 18 and Nanoblack 15. Every score had a story, but only one ended at the goal limit.

This Deathmatch was decided by consistency across more than twenty minutes, not a single explosion. KST finished with 30 kills, 21 deaths and no suicides, and enjoyed the longest average life at 59 seconds. Rachot drew first blood and scored 22 kills, but four suicides reduced his score to 18. Longshot also produced 22 kills and 18 points, while leading immediate revenge kills with ten. Nanoblack managed 21 kills but sacrificed six points to suicides. The five-kill run, Longshot's interruption and the last Bio Rifle shot deserve their place in the chronicle. DM-CarbonFire ultimately rewarded fewer mistakes and the final hit.
