hemeroid rules DM-Deck: thirty frags, no lead changes
Nine kills in one life, one explosive double, and a lead nobody could take away.
DM-Deck hosted a match on 23 October 2026 that looked settled early on the scoreboard but never ran short of individual battles. The format was Normal Deathmatch, the target was 30 points, and five competitors fought across 894 seconds. hemeroid drew first blood at second 14, hitting Smrtak with the Rocket Launcher. That opening strike would become a pattern, although Bourak had a dangerous close-range Flak Cannon, Drtic kept returning with the Stinger, and Smrtak could still produce a Shock Combo. There was even a late appearance by Axonite. The result was a runaway, but the log documents plenty of ways the pursuers made the leader work for it.
First rocket, first mistakes
At second 22, Bourak lost a point to his own Redeemer. hemeroid meanwhile dispatched Drtic with the Shock Rifle at second 46. Bourak struck Smrtak twice with the Flak Cannon, at seconds 53 and 78, yet those points only brought him back into positive territory. hemeroid eliminated Bourak with the Bio Rifle at 85, Drtic with a rocket at 122, and Smrtak with another rocket at 131. By that point his score was five, while Smrtak had also fallen into slime at second 123.
Between seconds 164 and 202 the leader removed Bourak, Drtic, Bourak again, then Drtic once more. Bio Rifle, Redeemer and Rocket Launcher all featured in the run. At second 202 hemeroid had nine points, all earned without dying: the longest spree of the contest. Nobody else managed a streak longer than three.
Smrtak breaks the spree, not the grip
At second 253, Smrtak scored a kill recorded as Slime against hemeroid, finally ending that nine-frag life. Only twelve seconds later, hemeroid responded by hitting Drtic with a rocket from 56.6 metres for point ten. Smrtak landed a Shock Combo on the leader at 284, then used a Redeemer to kill Drtic at 304. The catch was that the same explosion killed Smrtak too, removing a point.
Bourak hit hemeroid with a rocket from 46.5 metres at second 384 and again with a Shock Rifle at 448. In between, however, the leader reached 14 through repeated Bio Rifle kills against Smrtak and Drtic. There were no changes of lead at any stage. The challengers could win exchanges, and did, but their isolated successes failed to produce a sustained scoring run capable of threatening the top spot.
A stubborn middle, a wider margin
Smrtak caught hemeroid with a Shock Combo from 44.3 metres at second 478. Drtic followed with a Stinger kill at 501 and a Link Gun kill at 557. Those are real setbacks, not decorative footnotes, yet hemeroid collected three more points between seconds 514 and 542 to reach 17. The choice of weapons kept changing; the identity of the leader did not.
At second 587, Drtic killed hemeroid with the Stinger, while a simultaneous entry credited hemeroid with a Redeemer kill against Drtic. A Sniper Rifle hit on Bourak came at 610. Smrtak killed hemeroid with Slime at 634, only to be hit by the leader’s rocket thirteen seconds later as the score reached 20. The revenge figures tell their own story: Drtic had four immediate revenge kills, Smrtak and Bourak three each, but hemeroid topped them with five. Even the small personal feuds leaned toward the eventual winner.
The quiet spell ends with a blast
At second 667, another rocket against Drtic brought hemeroid to 22. Then came the longest kill-free stretch: 43 seconds. At 710, the silence ended with one Redeemer taking out Bourak and Drtic. The second victim triggered a Double Kill and lifted the leader to 24 points.
The closing minutes still had teeth. Axonite killed hemeroid with a Shock Rifle at 774, but fell to a Bio Rifle revenge at 786. Smrtak recorded the only headshot at 793. At 837, Drtic landed the longest kill: a 66.5-metre Sniper Rifle shot against hemeroid. Axonite followed with a Redeemer kill at 843. But the leader reached 29 with a rocket at 869, survived another setback against Drtic at 881, and finished at second 894 by eliminating Smrtak with the Bio Rifle from just 3.3 metres.
