biggest overkill: hemeroid (97 dmg) · airborne kills: 37 · gutsiest kill: hemeroid (3 HP)
Match verdict: hemeroid won the Normal Deathmatch on DM-1on1-Meitsu 30–21 over Jano because the 12–12 equaliser at 448 seconds prompted a sustained response rather than a collapse. His mix of twelve Bio Rifle kills and thirteen rocket kills, together with rapid recoveries after score penalties, decided the busiest phase.

hemeroid Holds Off Jano in a Fierce Meitsu Shootout
Nabeh drew first blood, but hemeroid delivered the final verdict.
DM-1on1-Meitsu, Normal mode and a Deathmatch target of thirty points: simple rules for a contest that became anything but simple. Match 334 lasted twelve minutes and twenty-five seconds, featured six competitors and changed leaders four times. The first shot was no reliable guide to the winner. hemeroid eventually reached thirty points, Jano finished on twenty-one and Rachot on nineteen, but the final standings hide several reversals, spectacular mistakes and a late surge. Weapons changed hands, self-inflicted deaths erased hard-earned points and the fastest minutes barely allowed anyone to settle. This is the story of who controlled the pace, who answered when hit, and who kept their nerve when the scoreboard tightened.
First blood and Rachot takes charge
Six seconds after the start, Nabeh fired a Rocket Launcher at Rachot from 12.9 metres to claim first blood. It looked like the arrival of an unlikely front-runner, but Rachot struck back at hemeroid with a Bio Rifle after eighteen seconds. Four seconds later he brought down Liftjump with a rocket, earning a Double Kill. By the 66-second mark, Rachot had four points while hemeroid had one. Nabeh hit Rachot again with a rocket at 71 seconds, making it clear that the early exchanges would not follow anyone's script.
Nabeh suffered a self-inflicted death at 82 seconds and left early with one final point. Rachot collected his fifth at 143 seconds against Liftjump, but hemeroid was already closing in, especially with the Bio Rifle. At 165 seconds, hemeroid's rocket dropped Jano and lifted him to five points; twelve seconds later he was on six. The opening leader had been caught in a fight where an early advantage mattered considerably less than the ability to repeat it. The title race was wide open.
Five kills and one emphatic interruption
The match's longest killing spree belonged to hemeroid. The computed record credits him with five consecutive kills between 78 and 190 seconds, before Liftjump stopped the run with a Rocket Launcher at exactly 190 seconds. Along the way came Bio Rifle hits against Rachot and Liftjump, followed by rockets against Jano. In the 196th second, Rachot used a Flak Cannon to put his own score level with hemeroid at 6–6. Fourteen seconds later, hemeroid took Rachot out with a Bio Rifle for 7–6.
Jano was trying to force his way into contention through relentless rocket fire, although his own Rocket Launcher cost him points at 205 and 265 seconds. This was a contest in which the number of opponents eliminated told only half the story: self-inflicted deaths had real consequences on the scoreboard. At 279 seconds, hemeroid hit Rachot with a Shock Rifle and reached ten points just ten seconds later. Liftjump briefly attacked Jano and hemeroid with the Stinger, only to be stopped by a Bio Rifle at 289 seconds. Momentum came in short, violent bursts rather than a single unstoppable run.
Jano reaches the leader
At 325 seconds, Jano landed two rocket kills, one against hemeroid and another against Rachot. The second registered as a Double Kill. With hemeroid on twelve and Jano on eight, the gap still appeared manageable for the leader, but the middle of the match supplied a genuine twist. hemeroid moved to fourteen after killing Liftjump twice, then endured self-inflicted deaths at 382, 412 and 425 seconds. Those penalties brought his score back down to twelve. Meanwhile, Jano repeatedly targeted Liftjump and Rachot, finally drawing level with hemeroid at 12–12 in the 448th second.
That was Jano's best moment of the comeback. hemeroid answered immediately: at 451 seconds he eliminated Jano with a Stinger, at 478 seconds he struck him with a rocket and at 484 seconds he hit Rachot from an extraordinary 52.6 metres. The longest kill of the match was achieved with a Rocket Launcher, not a Sniper Rifle. Yet the sniper still earned a distinction: at 511 seconds, Rachot shot Jano in the head from just 9.9 metres. The match's only headshot was surprisingly close, while its longest shot came from a weapon usually associated with explosive pressure.
Minute ten erupts before the final shot
The interval from 480 to 539 seconds produced twelve legitimate kills. The tenth minute, from 540 to 599 seconds, delivered fourteen, making it the busiest minute in the match. hemeroid removed Rachot at 514 seconds and Flakjack at 516, completing a Double Kill and reaching eighteen points. Jano replied against Liftjump at 531 seconds and Flakjack at 535, but hemeroid eliminated Jano with the Bio Rifle at 542 and again at 550. The resulting 20–15 margin told a more convincing story than any explosion could.
Flakjack, a later participant, made his presence felt with the Link Gun, taking down Rachot four times overall. Liftjump added several important late kills, yet hemeroid kept extending his lead. At 702 seconds, the leader stood on 27 points to Jano's 20. Two Stinger kills, against Jano and Flakjack, took hemeroid to 29. Jano managed one last rocket hit on him at 739 seconds, but hemeroid finished the entire Deathmatch with an Enforcer kill against Jano at 745 seconds. Thirty points, a nine-point victory margin and a final punctuation mark from a sidearm.

His victory was not simply a matter of shooting first.
