Thor@x storms DM-Deck and erases a huge 26-kill lead
Thirty kills without dying, one late arrival, and a leaderboard turned upside down.
UT3.sk match 34 was a Deathmatch lasting 37 minutes and 58 seconds, with a target of 30 points. Anyone watching only the opening half might have prepared a victory speech for someone entirely different. Gibko set the early pace, Liftjump answered with determination, and freedie00 then assembled a lead that looked almost decisive. Yet the timeline hid the most important detail: Thor@x played just 416 seconds. Those few minutes would turn a seemingly settled contest into a story about one of the wildest finishes in the record.
First blood and a rough landing
The first kill arrived at 1:20, when Gibko caught Liftjump with a Flak Cannon at just 1.7 metres. Thirty-three seconds later, he repeated the trick from an even tighter 0.9 metres. Liftjump refused to stay quiet: at 2:18, he took down oMgo with the Flak Cannon, then added a Rocket Launcher hit and a 41.6-metre Shock Combo. It was a beginning of exchanges rather than a coronation for any one contender.
Gibko nonetheless seized the early initiative. Not all score changes came from killing opponents: CampKiller deaths, slime and unfortunate Redeemer explosions also featured. Gibko repeatedly hit himself with the Redeemer, and his eventual 24 kills were offset by ten suicides. Liftjump produced a four-kill streak but also suffered two self-inflicted penalties.
Rocket after rocket: freedie00 takes over
At 12:51 freedie00 made his first major statement, eliminating oMgo with the Redeemer from 41.4 metres. The duel with Gibko then became the match's fiercest rivalry. Gibko killed freedie00 eight times; freedie00 returned the favour fifteen times. Their 23 direct eliminations were the highest total for any pair. It was a two-way road with exceptionally dangerous junctions, and neither combatant was prepared to concede it without a fight.
freedie00 owned the crucial middle stretch. His Rocket Launcher accounted for fifteen kills, his Redeemer for five, and his Stinger for another five. At 18:54 he drew level with Gibko at 9–9; eighteen seconds later he led 10–9, and by 20:29 his total was fifteen. By 30:46 he had logged his 26th kill. A best life of nine consecutive kills and seventeen immediate revenge kills, the highest revenge total, strengthened the impression of control. Thirty-five collected items helped fuel that run, although the scoreboard had not yet finished telling its story.
The silence before the shock storm
As freedie00 pushed his kill total to 26, Gibko was fighting the score deductions as much as his enemies. He registered 24 kills and dealt a match-high 5,328 damage, but ten suicides reduced his score to fourteen. oMgo kept showing up for every exchange: he played the full 2,278 seconds, recorded nine kills and six assists, but died 37 times. His headshot against Gibko at 31:01 was a notable bright spot in a punishing day.
The lead changed four times, yet the biggest reversal was still ahead. At 26:12, freedie00 dispatched Gibko with a rocket, followed by the match's longest gap between kills: 145 seconds. Then, at 34:25, a CampKiller death took freedie00 from 26 points to 25. Thor@x appeared in the final portion of the game, with 416 seconds of total playing time. While the earlier contenders had fought for every point through a long campaign, this newcomer was about to rewrite the order at a completely different speed.
Thirty kills, not one reply
Thor@x opened his account at 32:11 with a Shock Combo against oMgo. Four seconds later the same technique struck freedie00, who then still held 26 points. At 32:46 a Redeemer blast eliminated both freedie00 and oMgo; the second elimination registered the match's only Double Kill. The 33rd minute contained seven kills, the busiest of all, with Thor@x climbing the rankings at a rate that would have made any score graph nervous.
His late assault grew into an unbeaten run of 30 kills. At 34:44 he killed Flakjack with Slime from 55.2 metres, the longest recorded shot of the game. Thor@x reached 25 points at 37:04, his 26th at 37:25, and his decisive 30th at 37:57, hitting oMgo with a rocket from 4.8 metres. Along the way he also eliminated Fraghound and landed a Sniper Rifle headshot. He did not die once during his 416 seconds. This was not a narrow photo finish; it was an emphatic rewriting of the expected outcome.

The final standings look almost implausible: Thor@x first on 30 points without a death, oMgo second with seven, and Fraghound third with no kills. freedie00 finished fourth despite his 25 points because he left before the match ended. Gibko carried home fourteen points and perhaps a complicated relationship with the Redeemer. Nobody ever broke Thor@x's 30-kill streak; it was still alive when the match finished. The numbers tell us exactly how the reversal happened, but they also make an old arena lesson impossible to ignore: no story is complete until the very last frag lands.
