Xazzediss666 Rules DM-Deck With a Seven-Kill Surge
From a CampKiller deficit to 30 points, Xazzediss666 survived Redeemers, revenge kills and four failed attempts to finish.
DM-Deck opened the duel quickly and without manners. Five seconds in, Vybuch dropped Stingray with the Flak Cannon, taking first blood and the first lead. Then came a strange lull: after Smrtko scored at 26 seconds, the gap between scoring kills stretched to the match-high 53 seconds, even though the arena still punished Xazzediss666 with CampKiller and sent Vybuch and Stingray into slime. Xazzediss666 therefore had to climb from a negative score, a detail that later made the turnaround look even stronger. The match produced only two lead changes, but it was packed with smaller swings, revenge kills and self-inflicted disasters.
Vybuch strikes first, Smrtko takes the wheel
Vybuch's first blood on Stingray came from 2.7 metres, but the early lead did not last. Smrtko hit Stingray with the Shock Rifle at 26 seconds and, after the first self-inflicted deaths around him, moved in front. At 88 seconds he sent Xazzediss666 into the slime, and at 134 seconds he produced the first real fireworks: one Redeemer blast killed Xazzediss666 and Vybuch, the second victim completing a Double Kill. The punchline was painful, because the same explosion also killed Smrtko and immediately cost him a point.
Xazzediss666 recovered methodically. The Sniper Rifle delivered his first frag at 116 seconds, followed by a Flak Cannon kill and another sniper hit on Smrtko. At 178 and 180 seconds he eliminated Stingray and Smrtko with the Stinger; the second frag was a Double Kill and pulled him level at 4:4. At 203 seconds, a 10.3-metre Sniper Rifle shot on Smrtko made him the sole leader at 5:4. That was the second and final lead change of the match.
The gap grows, but Deck keeps kicking back
From there the scoreboard started leaning toward Xazzediss666, although nobody surrendered quietly. By 329 seconds he had nine points, switching often among the Sniper Rifle, Flak Cannon and Stinger. Smrtko and Vybuch pushed each other in the middle of the table, while Stingray kept answering with rockets. Suicides were not a side note: Smrtko finished with eight, Stingray seven and Vybuch six, repeatedly cutting down their own good work. At 457 seconds Smrtko added another Double Kill with the Flak Cannon, dropping Vybuch and Stingray in the same burst.
Around the halfway point Xazzediss666 began to create real separation. He reached ten at 482 seconds and eleven at 510. At 578 seconds came the only headshot of the entire match, a 16.8-metre Sniper Rifle kill on Stingray. Further hits on Vybuch and Smrtko followed, and by 620 seconds the leader stood at 15:9 over his closest pursuer. Smrtko answered with the Link Gun at 640 and, one second after Xazzediss666 scored at 655, caught him with the Shock Rifle at 656, but the leader never allowed the contest to become close again.
Redeemer sends a warning, the favourite stays on course
The longest-range signature belonged to Vybuch. At 805 seconds he launched a Redeemer that caught Xazzediss666 from 48 metres, the longest kill of the match, and the same explosion also removed Stingray for a Double Kill. It was a reminder that a comfortable lead on DM-Deck did not permit a moment of relaxation. Vybuch also ended with the highest average kill distance at 17.7 metres; Stingray averaged 15.9, Smrtko 15.2 and Xazzediss666 14.8.
Xazzediss666 answered with pace rather than panic. He reached 20 points at 906 seconds, 21 at 936 and 22 with a Rocket Launcher kill at 979. The sixteenth and seventeenth minutes were especially busy, and minute 17 produced the match-high eight kills. Overall tempo ranged from two to eight kills per minute, yet the leader kept the cleanest upward line through the chaos. Smrtko, Stingray and Vybuch could win individual exchanges, but none could connect enough of them into a run as long as the one about to arrive.
Seven kills, four stops at 29, one final flak shell
The decisive burst began at 998 seconds. Xazzediss666 killed Vybuch with the Rocket Launcher and started the longest spree of the match. Smrtko and Vybuch then fell to the Stinger, Stingray followed to the Stinger, another Vybuch died to the Flak Cannon, Smrtko was picked off by the Sniper Rifle and at 1149 seconds Vybuch went down to the sniper again. Seven unanswered kills carried the leader from 22 to 29. Stingray finally stopped the streak at 1155 seconds with a 38.1-metre Link Gun kill.
Suddenly the last point refused to appear. Smrtko killed Xazzediss666 at 1167, Stingray hit him again at 1181, and Vybuch used the Redeemer at 1195; Xazzediss666 remained stuck on 29. Opponents were still losing points to themselves too: Vybuch died to that same Redeemer blast, while Smrtko had already suffered another rocket mishap and Stingray went into slime at 1226. Smrtko killed Stingray with the Link Gun at 1238 to reach 15. One second later came the full stop: from just 1.3 metres, Xazzediss666 hit Smrtko with the Flak Cannon and closed the match at 30:15:13:12.
