hemeroid wins DM-Sentinel with a last-second rocket
On DM-Sentinel, leads shifted, rockets flew, and hemeroid saved the decisive shot for the very end.
The DM-Sentinel Deathmatch lasted 14 minutes and 57 seconds, and the final recorded hit closed the score at 30. hemeroid won 30–23 over becool, but the result was no comfortable cruise: the lead changed twice, Jano kept fighting back, and Trhac punished mistakes at close range. First blood belonged to becool, who hit Jano with the Bio Rifle at 19 seconds; Jano answered with the Rocket Launcher in that very same second. With not a single headshot recorded, timing, revenge kills, and surviving the next duel mattered more than a perfect shot to the head.
First blood and an instant reply
becool opened the scoring at 19 seconds with a Bio Rifle kill on Jano. Before that first blood could set the tone, Jano returned the favour with the Rocket Launcher in the very same second. The opening established the match’s main rhythm: every point could be challenged immediately, and nobody had much time to celebrate.
Jano then took down Trhac and briefly seemed to find his own pace, but hemeroid began methodically punishing his repeated returns. The Bio Rifle delivered a run of hits on Jano, joined by the Rocket Launcher and Flak Cannon. By 82 seconds, hemeroid had four points while Jano remained on two. Trhac used the Link Gun to stay involved, showing that he could enter the fight whoever happened to be setting the pace.
The Bio Rifle keeps hemeroid ahead
In the first third, hemeroid leaned mainly on the Bio Rifle, his favourite weapon, and used it repeatedly to create openings against Jano and Trhac. His lead gradually grew, although becool and Jano answered with rockets, the Shock Rifle, and Shock Combos. The match was not about one safe corner: recorded kill distances ranged from near-contact shots to attacks across a substantial stretch of the map.
At 194 seconds came the longest kill of the match: hemeroid hit Jano with the Rocket Launcher from 38.5 metres away. In that same second, Jano scored a Double Kill against becool, but hemeroid immediately stopped him with another rocket. The third minute was the busiest by the statistics, with ten kills. Anyone hoping to catch a breath clearly had not been granted permission by Sentinel. Average life lasted 40 seconds for hemeroid, 32 for becool and Trhac, 22 for Jano, and 7 for Fragan; Fragan’s figure should be treated cautiously because his listed play time conflicts with a later kill-log entry.
Shock Combos, becool’s streak, and a brief lull
becool refused to give in, and his Shock Combos began to change the exchanges. Around seconds 348–363, he eliminated Jano, Trhac, and hemeroid; the hit on hemeroid brought another Double Kill. Later, he launched the longest streak of the match: six kills during the interval from 501 to 599 seconds. It was his strongest phase and proof that he could reopen the contest despite trailing.
Trhac ended becool’s streak with a Link Gun kill at 599 seconds. Between seconds 252 and 291, the match also had its longest pause without a recorded kill: 39 seconds. After that, the pace picked up again and the score swung between players. Jano recorded ten assists and becool twelve, so both contributed to exchanges that almost looked like team play, despite this being Deathmatch. In this mode, though, assists do not enter the table as easily as another frag.
A finish right on the 30-point line
In the final minutes, hemeroid tried to protect his lead while becool and Jano kept finding answers. Late in the match, hemeroid reached 25 points, and repeated suicides showed that the Rocket Launcher could be dangerous even to the player holding it. No headshots were recorded, and the duel was not settled by one spectacular precision shot; repeated hits, close-range fights, and winning the final exchange made the difference.
In the closing seconds, hemeroid eliminated Jano at 895 seconds to move to 29 points. Two seconds later, he hit becool with the Rocket Launcher, reached 30, and closed the match with a Double Kill. The final order was hemeroid on 30, becool on 23, Jano on 21, and Trhac on 17; Fragan remained at -1. The lead changed twice during the match, but the decisive finish belonged to hemeroid.
