Maps: DM-Sentinel
A compact deathmatch where 3,576 m² becomes a race for tempo, position and nerves.
DM-Sentinel is a deathmatch map built around fast spatial awareness, constant movement and changing direction before an opponent can finish their grand tactical idea. Its 81 × 68 metre footprint provides 3,576 m² of walkable area and nine obstacles or holes, so even a short retreat can become either a clean manoeuvre or a very direct route to respawn.
The centre demands the most attention: two recorded central zones each account for 1.3% of all kills, while a third notable zone sits in the lower-left area with 1.1%. This is not a map for falling asleep on one position; rotations, lane control and a prepared escape route work far better.
On UT3.sk, DM-Sentinel has been played 6 times so far, from 13 July 2026 to 16 July 2026. Those matches produced 434 kills, with an average of 4.2 players and roughly 16 minutes per match. MaxRus leads with 93 kills in three matches, followed by the bot Fraghound with 44 and hemeroid with 42; Freylih holds the single-match record with 32 kills, while MaxRus recorded the longest streak at 11 kills without dying.
Battle tips
- Use the compact 81 × 68 metre layout: after every fight, change direction or elevation so you do not remain an easy target to read.
- The centre is the clearest combat hotspot. Enter it with an escape route in mind and avoid standing in open ground longer than necessary.
- Use the nine obstacles and holes to break lines of sight. Watch the terrain while moving backwards, because one bad step can end a duel without your opponent earning much credit.
- With an average of 4.2 players, spawn awareness and movement sounds matter. After a kill, do not automatically expect the next opponent from the same direction.
- An average match lasts 16 minutes, so consistency wins. A short burst of risky attacks may help, but feeding frags for the rest of the match usually does not.
The first six matches on DM-Sentinel produced 434 kills, while the single-player record for one match stands at 32 kills.
