Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: becool (150 dmg) · airborne kills: 30 · gutsiest kill: Jano (3 HP)
Match verdict: Jano won 30:20:20:7 ahead of hemeroid, becool and KST because his six kills between 75 and 132 seconds erased the early deficit and triggered the only lead change. His 22 Rocket Launcher kills and 21:13 direct-kill advantage over becool then helped him preserve that margin.
Jano earns MVP honours with 30 points, a documented six-kill streak and 14 immediate revenge kills; hemeroid also has a maximum streak of six on his player card, while the computed record singles out Jano’s run. KST collected the most items—18—making him the busiest scavenger in fourth place.
Jano Turns Devastation Around with Rockets and Grit
hemeroid fired the first rocket, but Jano claimed the final point.
Four players entered DM-1on1-Devastation on 17 October 2026 for a Normal Deathmatch with a target of 30 points. Jano, hemeroid, becool and KST had 835 seconds—13 minutes and 55 seconds—to turn kills into a winning score. The eventual champion was not the one who struck first. At seven seconds hemeroid hit KST with a Rocket Launcher from 4.2 metres for the official first blood. By the 53-second mark hemeroid had four points and Jano had none. That scoreboard was not a forecast, however. It was the starting point of a comeback full of explosives, abrupt reversals of fortune and one final Flak Cannon blast.
An early lead meets a rocket-powered reply
hemeroid backed up the opening kill by taking down Jano with the Enforcer at 24 seconds and the Bio Rifle at 53. Meanwhile becool lost a point to his own Rocket Launcher at 16 seconds, and KST demonstrated a Shock Combo on becool at 46. hemeroid held four points while Jano had yet to score, with several weapons already playing their part. Nothing about that start suggested the early leader would finish ten points behind.
At 75 seconds Jano began to strike back. He hit becool twice with rockets, then eliminated KST and hemeroid at 89 seconds, the second elimination earning a Double Kill. Jano and hemeroid were level at 4:4. A Flak Cannon kill at 105 seconds put Jano ahead 5:4, the match’s only change of leader. He extended the same streak to six kills by 132 seconds. Only at 154 seconds could hemeroid stop it with a Rocket Launcher. The gap in the scoreboard had changed sides, and the first decisive swing was complete.
Revenge, self-inflicted damage and a long silence
becool was no spectator. At 121 seconds he completed a Link Gun Double Kill, before using the Shock Rifle and Shock Combo to harass hemeroid and Jano. He dropped hemeroid at 159 seconds and Jano at 173; just three seconds later hemeroid subtracted a point from his own score with a rocket suicide. KST also scored twice between 181 and 197 seconds: a Bio Rifle kill on hemeroid and a Flak Cannon hit on becool.
Jano continued to build a cushion. His Flak Cannon eliminated becool at 243 seconds while he had only three health remaining. Then came the longest pause between kills: 36 seconds, until Jano felled hemeroid at 279 seconds. He reached 11 points at 307 seconds, immediately knocked himself back to ten with his own rocket at 310, and recovered to 12 by 331. It was a costly mistake but not a turning point. hemeroid still sat on four points, and Jano’s close-range attack kept generating opportunities.
Nobody received free points in the middle
becool nailed Jano with a Stinger from 39 metres at 340 seconds and a Rocket Launcher seven seconds later. hemeroid produced a Double Kill of his own at 384 and 385 seconds, launching rockets into becool and then Jano. Yet Jano reached 14 points at 375 seconds and 15 at 403, while hemeroid had five and seven respectively. The becool–KST exchanges were equally stubborn: KST used his Flak Cannon to beat becool at 437 and again at 464 seconds.
becool answered with Shock Combo kills on Jano at 425 and 452 seconds, and another on KST at 464. Between 501 and 519 seconds Jano collected three rocket kills—KST, becool, KST—to climb from 15 to 18. becool interrupted him at 539 and 553 seconds, but Jano caught becool with a Flak Cannon at that same 553-second mark. By 584 seconds Jano had hit 20. The other three players could still disrupt his run, but the job was now to slow the pace of a leader who kept finding fresh points.
The final two minutes and a remarkable long shot
KST struck Jano with a Shock Combo at 587 seconds and got his seventh and final point against becool at 598. hemeroid remained dangerous, dropping Jano with the Bio Rifle at 640 seconds and the Shock Rifle at 677. Jano answered with kills on becool at 674 and 691 seconds, then hemeroid at 697 to reach 24. He took his 25th point at 723 seconds and his 26th at 746, the latter from hemeroid again.
At 760 seconds becool delivered the longest kill of the match: a Rocket Launcher hit on Jano from 49.4 metres, agonisingly short of the 50-metre benchmark. Jano went on to score points 27, 28 and 29 after 781 seconds; at the 817-second kill he had just three health left. hemeroid took Jano down at 820 and becool at 824 to reach 20 points. But Jano ended the argument at 834 seconds with a Flak Cannon kill on becool from 9.1 metres. Both the twelfth and fourteenth minutes contained eight kills, a fitting soundtrack for a 30-point finish.

The hottest individual matchup was Jano versus becool, who traded 34 direct kills, 21 of them claimed by Jano. Across the entire match there was not a single headshot. Rockets, close-range finishes and the ability to retaliate mattered more: Jano recorded 14 immediate revenge kills, the most of anyone. It may have been called Devastation, but the final score was remarkably precise about who did the most damage where it counted.
