Match history — match detail
biggest overkill: KST (128 dmg) · airborne kills: 38 · gutsiest kill: Kemper (4 HP)
Match verdict: KST won 30–29 because an eleven-kill streak from second 786 turned twenty points into a finish at thirty. Jano led 23–11 at second 549, but five suicides undermined the value of his 34 kills; late consistency outweighed early volume.

MVP goes to KST for the comeback, the eleven-kill streak and a match-high fifteen instant revenge kills. Kemper claimed Double Kills, Jano the lone headshot and Flakjack first blood; only one player could take the trophy.
KST erased a huge deficit to steal the win on DM-Edge
Jano looked certain to win, until KST launched a relentless final charge.
DM-Edge hosted a Deathmatch in which the clock seemed to favour one shooter for most of the evening, yet another had the final say. KST, Jano, Kemper and Flakjack were racing toward the thirty-point target across 15 minutes and 51 seconds of combat. First blood came at seven seconds: Flakjack dropped Kemper with a Stinger from five metres. Jano answered with two early Rocket Launcher kills, setting a furious pace before one of his own rockets wiped a point off his score. That setback quietly previewed the contest's central rule: making kills is one thing, keeping their value is another. KST was barely visible near the top of the table, but was far from finished.
Kemper lights up the Link Gun
Jano set the early rhythm, but Kemper seized the stage after 93 seconds. His Link Gun took down KST, Jano and Flakjack, with a Double Kill at second 100. Two more victims at seconds 110 and 111 brought a second Double Kill. In a flash, Kemper stood on six points while Jano had two. Nobody could afford to stand still, and each player already had a reason to take revenge.
KST replied with a Bio Rifle kill against Flakjack at 121 seconds, then switched to the Link Gun and Shock Combo. At second 140 the combo removed Flakjack from 26.7 metres. Jano pushed back, although Kemper still held the lead at seven points by second 182. Between concentrated Link Gun fire and the rocket exchanges, the leaderboard was already changing shape faster than anyone could settle into a comfortable position.
Jano rockets clear of the pack
At 235 seconds Jano moved onto eight points, taking the lead from Kemper. By 271 seconds he had ten, with the Rocket Launcher repeatedly removing KST and Flakjack. The price was steep: self-inflicted rocket deaths at seconds 318 and 356 stripped away points he had just earned. Jano could produce kills rapidly, but his own weapon could undo the work. KST was rotating through Shock Rifle, Shock Combo, rockets and Flak Cannon without yet finding a decisive burst.
After seven minutes Jano opened a more imposing advantage. He had 16 points to KST's eleven at second 468, then landed the match's sole headshot on Kemper with the Sniper Rifle at second 500. Just 49 seconds later the gap stood at 23–11. Of Jano's 34 kills, 24 came from the Rocket Launcher. This was a full-scale bombardment, not a delicate demonstration of precision. Yet 23 points were still seven short of victory.
A commanding lead with no safety net
KST broke Jano's momentum with Bio Rifle at second 557 and Shock Rifle at second 593. Between those two kills came the log's longest quiet stretch, 36 seconds. The noise returned immediately: by second 604 Jano had 24 points while KST had thirteen. Minutes eleven and twelve recorded ten kills each, the joint peak for the entire match. There was scarcely room to think, let alone celebrate a single frag.
Kemper and Flakjack kept the pressure on both leaders. Kemper collected a Link Gun Double Kill at second 719; Flakjack caught Jano at second 748 and KST at 758. Jano reached 27 at second 688, only to drop back to 26 through another rocket suicide at second 704. KST answered with a Shock Combo kill on Jano at 712 seconds. At second 799, Kemper landed the longest shot of the match, hitting Jano with Shock Rifle from 37.7 metres. Impressive, but it did not settle the title.
Eleven kills to rewrite the finish
The decisive comeback began at second 786 when KST took down Kemper with Bio Rifle and reached twenty points. Two Stinger kills against Flakjack followed, then Bio Rifle strikes against Kemper and Jano. KST caught Flakjack twice more with the Stinger at seconds 881 and 888, before eliminating Jano with Shock Combo at 907. He did not die once during this run. Switching weapons as situations changed turned a distant hope into a very real threat.
At second 913, KST removed Flakjack with the Link Gun to tie it 28–28. Six seconds later the same weapon dropped Jano: KST was ahead 29–28. Jano answered with Flak Cannon against Kemper at 929 to level the contest at 29–29. The next decisive blow was also the last. At second 950, KST caught Flakjack with Bio Rifle to claim a 30–29 victory. Eleven consecutive eliminations had carried KST across the finish line; nobody ended the streak because the match ended first.

Jano actually recorded more kills, 34, but five self-inflicted deaths subtracted five crucial points. Their direct rivalry was perfectly balanced at fourteen kills apiece. It was not simply a question of who could shoot the other more often; it was who could remain effective when the scoreboard mattered most. On DM-Edge, the biggest lead became a footnote while the last point belonged to KST. The statistics supplied a better ending than a scriptwriter might dare to invent.
